Reminder that during your off-week you can play in the Flight Week Open (found in Tournaments). It's a handicap enabled event. No registration, no score submissions. The leaderboard will not be posted on TGC Tours. Enjoy the relaxing week off and discuss what worked/didn't work with the handicap setup.

Extract from Doyley's post: tgctours.com - Flight Week Open (handicap tournament open to all TGCT members) That's what I figured but I didn't know if he wanted it to be just a tournament for the web.com/champions tour guys without a PGA/Euro exemption this week. Knowing my luck I'll end up winning this one!

Practice round was not good. This course is strange somehow... It was created by 18 different designers so it doesn't 'flow' as a normal course would. The 8th hole was my creation.

So just completed this tourney on PC..
Started with +11 handicap for all four rounds.. Which relates to a +44..
Scored -44 to come out at Even Par..
Though it was fun to try stay Even or better, this format would be rather unfair in a tournament setup and would cause headaches to try sort out the winners, since I'm sure there will be many scores that would be tied because of the handicap adjustment.
Trying to win a tournament with a 44 stroke penalty to begin with would be impossible.
Let's not even get into how easy it would be to sandbag your handicap.
Great fun for a social environment, just can't see how it could work without issues in a competitive environment
