Have at it guys!
Fantastic course with plenty of opportunities to score out there.
I've been playing pretty well as of late, and kept it up this week. -22 at the cut, and -43 to finish. May you all play well enough to get to -42.

-37 My usual ups & downs on the tours. Had a look at this course the day before playing. -22 through 2rds, 60/60. Play the tours, -7 -16 -5 -9 Like 2 different games. No consistency. Maybe a nervy thumb. Dashed again for another week...

Really enjoyed this course, a lot of fun. One of my favorites I’ve played in the Euro tour since getting up here.
My play was terrible though, went -4, -6.....Won’t make the cut. I was -6 through the first 5 holes in round two and then I went ice cold...finished even par on the final 13, argh!
I’m still having fun on the Euro tour, but I do struggle to stay extra focused and kind of miss the tension or pressure, as I know I’ll never come close to making 5 top tens without missing a cut...and it seems pretty hard to get 5 demotion marks without having some good weeks and getting rid of them. So basically a bit of the thrill is gone but it’s still a lot of fun to play beautiful, tough courses against elite competition.

So in the first round I went bogey-free and hit 17 GIR. In the second round I had one bogey and missed 4 GIR. So, because my putting is wildly inconsistent, it should be no surprise that my first round was a 66 and my second was a 58.
I had 32 putts in the first round. Only 22 in the second round. Even if my first round had been only, say, 28 putts, I'd be sitting at tied for 5th instead of 28th.

Third round I missed a 12 foot birdie on 1, a 7 foot birdie on 4, and an 11 foot par on 6. Still came out of the front 9 at -5, but should have been -7 or -8 even without counting the two near hole-outs I had. Started the back 9 by just barely failing to get up the slope on the front of the green with my pitch and tapping in for par from a foot. Had to settle for par on the 13th after driving over the green then sending my flop off the front, which I had been afraid to do if I chipped it. Left a birdie putt from the fringe on 15 8 inches short. Tapped in for par from 1 foot on 15, missed the par putt on 17 by 8 inches. I did manage to birdie 18 despite it being a 500+ yard par 4 dead into heavy wind and shot a 64. Unfortunately that still puts me 14 shots back of the top 10 through 3 rounds.
4th round, missed a 14 foot eagle on 2, barely missed the green on 1 and 3, missed an eagle chip on 4 by inches. Missed an 8 foot par on 8. Nearly holed out from the heavy rough on 9 and tapped in from a foot. Lipped out a birdie from 10 feet on 10. Missed a 7 foot birdie on 13. Missed an 11 foot par on 15. Left another birdie putt 8 inches short on 17. Ended up with a 67, for -30 overall. 86th in putts per hole really isn't gonna cut it.
