Some Americans think Canada is a northern state, like Alaska, while others assume Canada is some sort of American-owned territory, like Puerto Rico or Guam. And, as Rick Mercer proved, even Harvard and Princeton professors knew so little about Canada they were happy to sign petitions to protest government decisions "to resume the Saskatchewan seal hunt" and "reinstate the Toronto polar bear slaughter." That said, there are some really sad uninformed (let's say) folks who represent the people in many states, provinces and countries. That is on us(the voter). e.g. Many Canadians can't stand our Prime Minister but compared to the current POTUS he's the "cat's ass". To be clear, no judgement about Justin on my part.

Grew up in Rochester NY. Crossed the border many times. Best strip clubs ever. Saw Pink Floyd in Toronto and saw the best naked strip club in Montreal.
Love Canada! Remember Labatts Ice beer? Huge in NY!

Oh man, I'm down with that Paul, Montreal strip clubs best ever. Being from the west, I mainly drank Labbat's Blue. How times change, more of a single malt guy now. Cheers.

I have never seen a strip club like the one I saw in Montreal. Honestly not a big fan of them but that one was classy. Yeah loved Labbat's. Cannot drink where I live now though. It is all skunked by the time it gets here. I switched to Jack Daniels lol.

Best beer I've ever drank is Hofbrau at the Oktoberfest. Can't find it anywhere in the UK though.

My personal favorite thing from Canada is The Trailer Park Boys. Love it! Trailer park boys! Love it! Fun fact, I met John dunsworth's (lahey) daughter when I went to Canada years ago. Was on the train from Toronto to Vancouver and so was she. Me and my gf of the time and her and her bf of the time hung out on the train and then for a couple of days in Vancouver. Really nice girl. We stayed friends on FB and chatted every now and again after. John died a year or two back THE best drunk actor I've seen! Two clips in a row from 1:19 crack me up EVERY time

I'll say that it works the other way as well. I've come across more than a few fellow Canadians who were totally clueless aboot the US. My wife is from just north of Boston and I was heading there one weekend and the topic of my travel came up at work. One guy wondered if Boston was close to New England and then followed it up by asking if it was close to Chicago(for the record Chicago is roughly 7 hours west of here and Boston is about 8 hours east). Another girl had never heard of Black Friday and thought it was a day black people had parades all across the country.

Just started the series again from scratch, it never gets boring for me. RIP Mr Lahey. Without a doubt the greatest drunk actor ever. PS... Let's not forget the "sh%$ talk"
