Although Victor traveled to XuXu with Darryl in the party bus this week, the tour had issued them different tee times, so he was forced to walk the course and witness these great opening rounds by so many players, leaving him feeling pretty nervous about his Friday afternoon tee times. He’ll be hitting the course around 3:30pm this afternoon, with a tall “water bottle” ready for action if things go sideways.

Much like Mike’s 1st 2 rounds putts were simply not dropping for him even thou he felt like he was playing pretty good golf, Mike would get off to a slow start and then find some rhythm only to lose it again -5 for the front 9 and -4 for back 9 would give him a round of 63 (-9) -30 for the tournament so far, hopefully there will be some better scoring in round 4.

There’s been a delay on the tee, something about tournament officials halting play while they deal with an irate Leo Nidas on the course.
Victor Lane will be on the first tee at 4:00 EST.

Whatever chance I had at a good finish for this tournament went bye-bye on the back 9 of the final round. I was -10 on the front 9, and don't think I had a putt over 7 or 8 feet the whole time. Back 9 it all got in my head and I had 2 bogey's to limp in to the finish line. Maybe another day I'll not pee down my leg when it matters.

After a fairly underwhelming week at the Pokemon Go Long! Championship Mike was hoping to put at least one good round together for the week, Mike would start his final round at -30, Birdieing the 1st 3 holes was just the start he was looking for but as the case has been all week it would be followed with a set of 3 pars, still determined to finish the week strong Mike would go onto birdie 5 straight holes and feeling more like the golfer he knew he was, a par on 12 then another 4 straight birdies and a final birdie on 18 would see him shoot a final round score of 59 (-13) and -43 bogie free week, good enough for a top 10 spot at this late stage of the tournament.

It had been a crazy week for Victor Lane heading into the tournament at XuXu CC, as he tried to make some appearances for newly-acquired sponsor Under Armor after gaining some nice corporate support due to his win a couple weeks ago, while also keeping up with Darryl A. Montgomery's party tour in the RV, so his tee time wasn't until late on Friday afternoon. As such, he knew that guys like Darryl, Shaun Trayys, Yaters, Mayo, and a few others were posting low scores out there, and that big hitters like PW3 weren't done yet either but had posted great scores in the first few rounds. No matter, he was outfitted head-to-toe in his new threads, sponsor logos, and Captain Morgan "water bottle" as he headed to the first tee. He round got off to a smashing start with birdies on the first three holes and an unfortunate miss on hole 4, but the vibes were good. Oddly enough though, he lost a drive WAY right on hole 5 due to a bad tempo and had to pitch out of trouble just to get back to the fairway. But Victor did Victor things and got up and down for par from 127 yards to save the round and keep the momentum going, which would result in four straight birdies and a front nine 29. He had a couple of near birdies on 10, 11, and 12 before ripping off six straight to close with an opening 59. With a solid -13 to start he was on pace to keep up with the leaders, but the 10th green left a bad taste in his mouth, and little did he know how much that green would haunt him later. Feeling pretty good heading to the first tee in round two, and adorned with another new outfit, Victor made a solid par on hole one and a great birdie on two to get going, but the round went stale after that. Something you rarely see on the BCT, Lane made 8 straight pars, including a SAVE for par on the now-irritating hole 10, and he was debating walking off because he knew the tournament was over for him at this point. Armed with a "IDGAF" attitude now, he birdied 7 of his last 8 holes to shoot a 64, but that front nine had done him in, as sitting -21 at the halfway mark was significantly behind the leaders. One of the best things about the BCT is that rivalries amongst players carries all up and down the leaderboard, so despite being out of contention for the win, Victor still went to round three looking at other names on the board to try to finish ahead of, like Mike Georgiades. His bogey-free tournament continued on the front nine of round three with a -5, but the mood of the tournament changed for good on the aforementioned hole 10. Being a course designer himself, Lane had already noticed some attributes of this 10th green that would present a problem, and despite hitting the exact shot he had planned for into the green, the ball rolled and rolled and rolled off the back and down off the ridiculously severe downslope, giving a lie that he ended up not being able to get up and down, and ultimately making his first bogey of the tournament. The crowed murmured as Victor walked off the green and slammed his putter down at his golf bag, but luckily the cameras didn't pick up the string of profanities he was venting to his caddie about that hole. Once again though, he turned his anger to motivation and birdied 6 of the next 8 to salvage a 62. His -31 was not only out of contention for a win, but now he would struggle to earn a top ten spot either, sitting in 12th place after the third round with several players not even having played yet. Now arriving to the tee for round 4 in probably his favorite outfit of the week, Victor started off hot and birdied the first 6 holes, barely missed on 7 and 8, then birdied hole 9 for a 29. After placing a drive in the middle of the fairway on hole 10 for the fourth straight day, he couldn't believe what he saw when he reviewed the prospects for his second shot. This green had gone from dumb, to mildly irritating, to frustrating, and now had reached explosive levels. Despite planning the shot, which required a 12-yard fade into a back right pin, the ball once again landed on the green and rolled and rolled all the way to the back, then off the green and down onto the awkward slope. Victor's first chip attempt didn't make it to the hole, and it rolled all the way back to his feet, starting him on a verbal tirade that would end up lasting another ten minutes after what was to come. Lane chipped again, didn't make it to the hole, and it rolled all the way back to his feet again. Now extremely pissed off and continuing to get blasted straight in the arse by this stupid green, he committed to blasting a chip past the hole so it didn't happen again, but the damage was done. Victor missed his double-bogey putt, tapped in for triple, and calmly handed his putter to his caddie, which surprised the crowd. However, after walking to the next tee he lit the universe up with a tongue-lashing. "That has got to be the stupidest green design I've ever played on this tour! That hole has ruined any positive feelings I had about this course. DUMB! Absolutely ridiculous!" Once again, the IDGAF attitude seems to work well for Victor, as he birdied 7 of the last 8 holes all while verbally abusing the tenth green for the remainder of the round. Sitting in the RV after the round, talking with Darryl and Mayo about their rounds, including a HOT final round by Jeremy, Victor couldn't help but bring up the 10th hole once again. He finished the tournament at -42, but was +4 just on THAT hole. He said, "even give me pars on that hole and I'm -46, then if I actually make birdies on the front nine of round 2 I'm pretty close to you guys for contention. I'm not as far off as it might seem this week, but I'll never play this course again on account of that..." (this is where the quote ends, that way Lane's squeaky clean image isn't destroyed and he loses the great sponsor he just acquired). The three of them sat back enjoying their drinks as the other guys started to file in for the party, although the gang was clearly missing Leo Nidas and wondering what had happened to him. Just then, Shaun Trayys comes running in proclaiming that he has tied Darryl at -53, which included an eagle on the 18th that would give him the win on the countback. But Darryl barely had time to complain before all of the cellphones in the RV started pinging with breaking news: "Winthorpe III shoots third straight score in the 50's!" The mood drastically changed after that!

Unbeknownst to Lane, our TGZ cameras captured his profanity-laced tirade about the 10th green. Here's the exclusive footage:

Like Lane, Mayo's IDGAF attitude started when he had to chip in for par R3 on a 10th green that would even make Mike Davis cry foul. The frustration compounded when Mayo had four (FOUR!) lipouts for a third-round 64 that knocked him out of contention for the win. Mayo had an epiphany on the back 9 Sunday, though. "You can't miss a putt if you don't have to putt," he thought. He holed out with a wedge for eagle on the 13th & chipped in for eagle on both 16 and 18 to shot -16 for the round, -49 for the tournament and likely backdoor his way into the top 5. Speaking of back door ... Mayo snuck into Darryl's RV through the new backdoor that was installed this week following the repairs only to see Darryl nervously pacing about to see if -53 would hold up and Lane still ranting about the 10th green.

Congratulations to Mr. Shaun Trayys on his Maiden BCT win with an impressive -53 total in a count-back win over Darryl A. Montgomery & Preston Winthorpe III in the Pokemon Go Long! Championship, and what finish it was watching it all unfold on Pdubs stream.
Well done guys one of the most fun tournaments so far.

"I'll never forget this day, we have come so far and I just can't believe we did it", Ernie said to reporters as he stood in front of Shaun Trayys answering questions as if he won the tournament. He was even holding the trophy... But Shaun didn't care, he felt relief, relaxed, accomplished, yet hungry for more... Winning was an odd feeling, it felt amazing, the power was intoxicating, Darryl's groupies had never even looked his way before this week. Yeah, he could definitely get used to this. There was one fan in particular with an Ecuadorian vibe to her that walked right up to Shaun "it was always you", she said as she threw a paper bag into his chest. He looked down to catch it and by the time he looked up, she was gone... Now confused he reached in the bag.. his jaw dropped....... a mini plastic flamingo... Was this a sign that he conquered his fears? Or was this a weird voodoo curse? It didn't matter, because it pissed off Hector. As the competition thinned out plus the reporters and fans started to leave the tournament Shaun sat and starred down the 18th fairway at the Xuxa CC, he couldn't believe he beat those guys. He remembered being on 18 and thinking "I should lay up" but looked at Ernie standing at his bag with only 2 wood in his hand. It was an eagle he would never forget. Focus turns too the Couch Potato Classic, back to back sounds nice to Shaun and Ernie.
