-13, -9, -12 and -9 for a -43.
Choke city in round 4 as I was only -3 in final 10 holes. Almost hit it in the ocean on my tee shot on the 72nd hole. Then naturally missed a very easy 13 footer to cost me a top 5 finish.
Let the fast downswing roulette get to me and was playing defense all round 4. Weren't too many on the full shots...but more so on the pitches and flops; and a couple missed opportunities at gimmie chip ins that just killed me with fast downswings.
Didn't deserve to win anyways. My ball striking as a whole was quite poor even when I was getting good/great tempo. Was mis judging wind and pushing shots a bunch.
Putting saved me for once in a tournament as I only missed 1 putt under 11 feet in the 4 rounds. Have never come close to accomplishing that feat on tgc tours.
Course could have used some more risk/reward options imo but overall was solid.
Good luck to everyone still to tee off!

Well that was an adventure, especially in round two. Had some really good shots including coming up 3 inches short on a par three in those heavy winds. Made a beautiful tee shot on #8 both rounds. Made an eagle on one of them and a 42 foot putt for eagle on the other. Sadly offset with 2 bogeys in round one and a double and a bogey in round two. The double came from a really unlucky second shot that hit the left side of a fairway and bounced almost straight right and bounced 18 times to finally end up in the water.
Overall a disappointing -7 in round one that should have been two or three shots better. In round two I worked hard and felt my -6 was well earned in very tough conditions. I'm really hoping that -13 makes the cut but I think it is going to be close. If I miss it by a stroke or two it will be because I didn't take advantage of the conditions in round 1. I don't think I could have done much better in round two other than that unlucky bounce.
GL all!

Played a solid 1st round at -14, and gave a few away in round 2 at -8, for -22 at the cut. Let's see what the weekend brings.

Incredible consistency from Mr. Hrabec. Bravo sir! The key to scoring well in golf is being able to predict where your ball will land when you hit it. Obviously, the more repeatable your swing is, the easier this act of prediction becomes. But if you clutter your mind with too many swing thoughts, you'll struggle to develop any consistency. You only need to focus on a handful of basics; then the rest of your swing will happen automatically. The secret to a consistent golf swing is to know what those basics are.Address Address includes your grip, balance and alignment. There is no one correct grip but whichever grip you choose, you need to make sure your hand positions are the same each time. Balance is a matter of posture and relaxation. You gently flex your knees, bend from your hips and let your arms hang straight down; your weight should feel as if it's over the balls of your feet. And alignment simply means that if lines were drawn through your shoulders, hips, knees and feet, they would all point in the same direction. A consistent address makes your swing more repeatable. Takeaway The one-piece takeaway is one of the most poorly explained concepts in golf. Many people believe it means you lock your arms straight out as you start your backswing. Actually, your arms remain relaxed; a good one-piece takeaway means you turned your shoulders to start your backswing. If you turn your shoulders, your arms can remain fairly straight but relaxed until your hands are about waist high. From there you simply bend your right elbow (if you're right-handed) to finish your backswing. This is an easily repeated motion. Weight Shift Many players move too much during their downswing. A good weight shift keeps your weight between your feet. Imagine a vertical line extending upward from halfway between your feet. When you turn your shoulders to your right during the backswing, you don't need to slide your hips sideways because more of your weight moves to the right side of that line. Likewise, when you turn to your left during the downswing, more of your weight moves to the left side of the line. Eliminate the excess hip slides. Your balance will be better and your swing will be easier to repeat. Rhythm Rhythm is the most overlooked aspect of a consistent swing. Researcher John Novosel found that the backswings of most professional players (both male and female) were about three times longer than their downswing. It didn't matter whether you were timing Bobby Jones or Nancy Lopez or Tiger Woods. And because most players can easily count from one to four, this three-to-one relationship makes it much simpler to create consistency in your swing rhythm.

-17 after 2, so will safely make the cut. Winds were mighty strong in Round 2, so was happy with a -7 there, especially as understimated my first approach to a green into a headwind by about 30 yards 😂. Decent course, am hoping the winds are in different directions for Rounds 3 and 4 as some of the holes will play markedly different, and enjoyed the challenge again as last week I found the course a little too easy for the PGA level, felt like it was a putting contest looking at the GIR stats.
Good luck all!

This is beyond a joke now Chris Hrabec Diplomats 780 pulled again this week as one who plays along side Chris every day he gets his fair share of of shanks and missed fairways Something is obviously amiss somewhere else with his game then. Unless he’s another with magic thumbs like looper. Hopefully he can work through it with admin and play with a conforming game again.

It's not a mistake as I'm sure that brat scores went flat or splat off the leaderboard. Probably didn't hit many fat and messed up his stat. Sounds like could be a dirty rat and no handshake or pat on the back..
