I am finally happy with calling this version of my course, CYPRESS POINT CLUB (LiDAR) Tour. Even if the Sand Dunes don't look like sand and it doesn't have the right trees ... I refused to have the same texture for the Actual Sand Bunkers, and the sand dunes ... which are usually dirtier, firmer and more packed, thus taking away from the actual traps, and causing too much penalty with no way to adjust for them like the regular sand bunkers ... I like my alternate solution, and it really doesn't take away that much from the looks department as it looks from ground level and pictures I used for reference ... The course object meter is 100% full. I had to delete low-priority stuff, before publishing. A few cars, trees, bushes ... but nothing that will be missed. Again this course is pretty close to the real course, if playing from the RED, WHITE & BLUE tee locations. The Course gains its teeth from the Gold and Black tee locations. The course is too short for today's technology and long ball strikers from the real life length. From the tips, it plays 6839 yards, compared to the 6535 yardish length of the real Cypress Point ... The greens are about 175 ... slowed down from the other previous courses I published by the other spelling ... Hope you will find this new release to be a tad more challenging. Enjoy ... I think even RockManDan might Like this course, too ... or, not ... as it has "LiDAR" in the title. Recommended Wind Speed: Medium or Higher Wind Direction: SE, E, NE15th Tee (yes, there is crowds)Signature Hole: Cypress Point

Nice. The original has almost 2,000 plays, so I know this one will be amazing. Can't wait to give it a play!

Fantastic course. LiDAR takes it to the next level. I have just reviewed this course on my channel. I loved my time playing it. Enjoy!

Thank you for the play-thru ... This was a refined version of my earlier Psypress Point releases. Still wish I would have did a few things differently ... But, overall, I am pleased with the end results
I would also suggest you give the Other "Cypress Point Club/Cypress Point Club Tour" a Play...
It is a different approach to the same course, also a LiDAR generated terrain. The main difference between the two, is the designer did use sand texture for the dunes, but chose to not use a hilly backdrop ... in my opinion, loses the feeling of being on the California coastal mountain range, in the Del Monte Forest.
There are pros and cons, for choosing the backdrop the designer went with ... as with all things while designing, various choices and compromises must be made, while creating courses of this nature. And especially with a limited choice of incorrect themes to use. There really is no right or, wrong way, It is always up to the vision of the designer.
I believe both courses have their place in the game ... as I am a firm believer in having lots of options, and courses change throughout the years, and even within different times of the same year.

Nice work! I played both versions of this course back to back and it was interesting to see the differences in how the designer was used. I suppose I would have to play the real course to see who got it more "right" but for now I'll just say that both are lovely.
