Hi all,
one thing i think could add to the fun / skill level required would be to play tournaments on courses that require much more shot shaping than we currently do (I'm talking about on the PGA tour, but could be done on any tour). I personally think that there are a few too many courses where hitting it straight pretty much every time is the best policy, and it is resulting in mega low scores by everyone. If the courses we used had more required draws and fades to get round corners etc i think it would be a more entertaining challenge, with more varied outcomes. On the real life pro tour shot shaping is a requirement a large proportion of the time, so it may add to the realism too. Think of hole 13 at Augusta where you have to draw it round the corner to have a chance of getting there in 2, and if you fail to draw it then you are in the trees.
Its just a suggestion, maybe no one will agree with me, but I thought I would see what everyone thought. As a side note I would also have more risk and reward holes because it brings an air of drama to everything, and if you were near the top of a leaderboard on the 4th round it could be very interesting.
P.S. although it doesn't meet the requirements for a submitted course, if anyone enjoys a challenge of drawing and fading the ball, try out my course called 'vader's revenge' as it is designed specifically with this in mind.

Nice post Vader There have been one or two holes over the last few weeks that required shot shaping in the PGA and EUR tours.. But they are very far and few between. I'd like to see a few courses designed with shaping in mind.. But not every hole, obviously.. Otherwise overly shaped courses could alienate the more casual players.. They could be used for Majors.. Now that would be fun
