Good morning all, One of the more important things I have learned since joining TGC Tours from listening to all the expert designers out there, is to look at my own work with a critical eye. Sooo, I decided to take a look back at some of my old fave's and give them an upgrade! I started with Nohansett Country Club, which received some nice feedback on TGC2 and had over 2,500 plays. The TGC19 version I ported over had...15 plays. Doh. Perhaps I rushed things porting it over? And so, I have just published Nohansett CC 2019 Edition. This is a fictional Countryside themed course, that is supposed to have the look and feel of a classic New England private course, sort of Donald Ross-ish, influenced by some of the courses around here I have played. I kept the layout and routing the same, but ripped up each fairway, re-did pretty much all the bunkers, re-splined and sculpted the greens, changed few holes (for the better I hope!), improved all the sightlines, shot framing, and enhanced some of the planting. All in a pretty big makeover. It has four tees 7314/7102/6844/6649, it is set to firm/firm, greens rolling at 180+. Give it a little wind to make it interesting! Suggested wind, NW or SW. W probably plays toughest, E probably easiest. Should be a good place for match! Have at it and let me know what you think!
