Dirt Rally 2.0

Codemasters, which brought you F1, GRID, and Dirt Rally brings you Dirt 2.0 on Steam, PlayStation, Xbox and PC. Dirt Rally 2.0 is the offical game of the FIA World Rallycross Championship. As of this post, Dirt Rally 2.0 is currently on sale, including the Deluxe Edition, on all 3 platforms(Steam, PlayStation and Xbox(seasons 1 and 2 are also 50% if you purchase the Standard edition on Xbox only)). Race over 50 cars, in rally and rallycross. Standard edition includes 6 exotic rally locations. Race in New England, Poland, Australia, New Zealand, Argentina and Spain. Rallycross tracks include Hell, Loheac Bretagne, Silverstone and others. Season 1 of the DLC also adds Monaco, Sweden and Germany. Season 2 brings Wales, for a total of 10 unique rally locations. In season 2, Germany and Latvia are being added to bring the total rallycross location to 10 as well.

Game modes include: Career rally/rallycross, Free Play, Weekly, Daily and Monthly challenges, Historic and FIA World Rallycross Championship. Also includes multiplayer rally and rallycross with custom championships(rally multiplayer free with the game, rallycross requires PS Plus and Xbox Live). 

The newest update also brought us Clubs. Clubs are a way for all your friends to join and run championships with a points system and is now CROSS-PLATFORM!! Race against friends from Steam, PlayStation and Xbox. As of this post, only rally championships are available. And if interested, there is a special Club for The Golf Club community. I do like rallying and I was going to say the big thing that puts me off Dirt Rally is the low number of rallies. At least with DLC, ten isn't too bad.

How long are the typical stages? And how long are the longest?

Depends on location, Argentina has shorter long stages, compared to a Poland long stage. Argentina is around 6 miles, compared to Poland where a stage is just under 11 miles. Each of the up to 10 stages have 2 long stages and are generally forward and reverse, then the 2 longer stages are broken up into 4 shorter stages, forward and reverse, so in essence each location has 12 stages total. If you had all the locations and wanted to run a full rally, there would be a total of 120 stages in the game. Currently, DR2 is limited to 72 total stages, but in clubs or custom championships, you could run all 120. Wales will be released in mid-July, so current max is 108 stages for custom championships and Germany or Sweden are currently not available in Clubs. So max Club stages are currently at 84.

I have had Dirt Rally 2.0 since before it came out, I preordered it to get the extra cars.     I love the Dirt Rally series.

I'm really very very casual at it, and not real good.  haha.  I just like driving but I don't like the nascar type stuff.      I probably need to get back into a bit before joining a club.    I have been sucked into fortnite and magic the gathering lately in my spare gaming time, and been bringing up Skyrim again.   LOL  too many games, too little time!

So the DLC rallies of Monte Carlo, Sweden, Germany and Wales can't be raced in career mode?
