So I have been trying to get down my swing. While I'm progressing, I am still having too many shanks. I have started trying to do something new and was wondering if anyone else did it. I basically start moving my mouse up and down as if i'm swinging. I watch the mouse while trying to keep the path as straight as possible. When I feel like i'm there, I simply click the left mouse button and take the swing. So far after 3 rounds I have had only one shank and it was when I didn't do it for a chip. I usually don't bother with chips/putts. I mean it all could be in my head but I figured i gotta find some sort of routine to help me. Now if I can get some sort of routine for putting.

Yes, me too moving the mouse in practice swings. It helps quite a lot. Also, be sure to move your mouse very slowly, especially on the downswing. Rarely do I get a straight white line, but usually, I'm pretty close. But swing too fast and who knows where it's going, just like in real golf.
