Someone who is skilled with LiDAR should check out the Bandon Dunes courses.

I've mentioned it before, but it doesn't seem they are worth doing at this point. The lidar is over 10 years old and of low quality. Old macdonald, the punchbowl, and the par 3 course didn't exist.
The other courses have gradually changed over the years so it would take a designer very experienced in links style courses and familiar with Bandon.

I have been thinking about this and was looking up LiDAR sources for Bandon and I found this website loaded with different sources. But I'm not sure if the sources are actually good data and are worth using. Anyway here's the link I found for Bandon, again I have no clue what is usable/unusable LiDAR data: www.coast.noaa.gov/dataviewer/#/lidar/search/-13848739.886932906,5338201.649179079,-13845282.604313709,5344473.514024704

When I open it in TGC 2019 it looks like the lidar is decent. I don't have the time to do the proper decorating of the courses, so if someone wants the files send me a message and I can get them do you. I know the guy who designed TRA Ballyowen is working on Old Macdonald.

Ooh sweet! Thanks for checking it out. You should post this in the Under Construction tab I'm sure it'll get more attention.
