After last weeks debacle from me i decided i would try my best to play this week without losing my mind and it worked for 99% of the tourney except one hole (i will get to that). R1: 62 (-8) R2: 63 (-7) R3: 62 (-8) R4: 61 (-9) Total: -32 As soon as i begun i knew it would be a very tough tournament because some of the pins were in very difficult spots. It progressively got harder as the rounds went on and i really had to be patient and accept missed putts etc. Also had to be sensible and leave myself in spots where i could get down in two/two putt. (didn't always have the right club) This patience kind of paid off because i did pick up the birdies when they were presented to me. I got to the last round and even though the pins were in dangerous spots i still had my best round of the 4. I pitched in from 70 yards for an eagle 3 on Hole 4. That was awesome but i knew the whole round wouldn't be like that and had to accept a bogey on the Par 4 16th (although there were some angry screams ). Some of these par 4's were monsters and for some reason my 234 club kept ballooning in the air leading to that dropped shot. Despite that bogey i managed to hole a 23ft putt on the long par 3 17th as well as a 15ft+ putt on the last (birdie on par 5). That last pin is again in a very tough spot. I was happy that the tournament was over because it very much felt like a major. I have no idea where -32 will get me. Good luck everyone!

I just played a practice round and shot a -12, so I think this course is get-able, however, it plays pretty long with beginner clubs, so being in the fairway off the tee is paramount. Hopefully I can go 100% in FIR this week like I did last week, and roll the rock a little better so I can compete with my buds at the top.

good luck to everyone this week and nice to back Mr. Waring. shot -7 for my 1st round with only 1 bogie thanks to hitting the put at 100 kph but hand a couple of nice saves for par so I'll take that.

After a decent 1st round of 63 Mike Georgiades took to the Tee for his 2nd round feeling quietly optimistic about his chances and proceeded and started to attack the course, shooting Bridie on the 1st 6 holes, then the trouble started bogies on 7 & 9 with another birdie sandwiched in the middle on 8. The back 9 would start off with another bogie on 10 and what once looked like great round was now on brink of falling apart. 2 birdies 12 & 15 steady things but a bogie on 16 after a poor approach shot undone all that good work, a nice birdie on the last would get him back to -6. Failing to capitalize on a great start will probably cost him any opportunity to make some noise here at the Tin Cup Classic.

After rounds of 63 & 64 Mike Georgaides took to the tee for his 3rd round, after a making birdie on the 2nd he followed that up with bogie on the 3rd to be even after 3, it would be then that he played his best golf of the tournament making birdies on holes 4 through 8 to be -5 after 9. He cooled somewhat on the back 9 but still managed finish the round with -9 61 to take him to -22 after 3 rounds. Unfortunately his play in the 4th round was nothing special to write about and he was heard leaving the 18th mumbling something about his putter again, we assume it must have something to do with his double bogie on the 16th and posting a -1 69 for his final round.
Good luck to everyone still to tee off. I must say this idea of a spoiler thread is absolutely fantastic, kudos to you guys for making it happen.

There are rumblings around the grounds of the tournament that last week's champion, Darryl A. Montgomery, has arrived with his posse and plans to tee it up with Victor Lane today around 10:30am EST. TV crews are making final preparations to air the "champ's" full rounds on the VctryLnSprts Twitch channel.

I echo your comment Eric. The write ups make it all better for me. Good luck to you and Curtis in your rounds!

Darryl came out firing on all cylinders. He saw the round 1 leader board prior to tee off, so he knew what he needed to do. Things started off a tad slow on the front 9, which is very tough. He strung together some shots on the back 9 for an opening round -12 (58) Round 2 was very difficult with higher winds, but he felt right at home and had another solid score. Below are 2 replays from Round 4. Which helped him to a solid tournament. He'll be biting his nails all week as there are still some great players to play. With his winnings last week of $198, he was able to get a bumper put on the RV, and a 27'' tv with rabbit ears to watch the BCT action unfold. Good luck folks!! As always, it was a great time playing with Victor Lane! ( VctryLnSprts)

Victor Lane and his caddie did some scouting of the course this week prior to teeing off in round 1, and boy are they glad they did. This is a long course with beginner clubs, so that prior knowledge helped them decide to fill the yardage gaps at the top of the bag this week. Despite the challenging winds and long yardages, Victor completed another week without missing a single fairway, and didn't make even one bogey in this event. Unfortunately, the crew apparently left the putter at home, because they couldn't buy a birdie, especially in rounds two through four.
Playing along side Darryl A. Montgomery can be intimidating, because he's got crowds "so large" that follow him around the course it feels like a Trump inauguration, and Victor isn't used to that kind of fan fare when he plays. But if the two of these friends are going to travel this great country together on the TGC Tours beginner club tour, Vic will have to get used to it, because it doesn't seem like Montgomery will be letting off the gas any time soon. Victor put up a solid -9 in the opening round, despite starting the event with five straight pars, but he was quickly left in the dust with Darryl's hot round. It's possible that playing from behind doesn't favor Vic's psychy, because he could never get anything going for the rest of the event. Montgomery dragged Victor around the course for three more rounds, witnessing Lane's frustration on the greens, as he posted -7, -5, and -7 to finish the event -28.
Somewhere between here and Timbercreek Canyon CG (next week's venue), Victor needs to find his stroke, because there are other parts of the game that are shining right now, and he needs to capitalize on that good play from tee to green.
61-63-65-63 = -28

Hector is having some transportation issues but still hopeful he will make it to the course to play this week. Here is a live look at Mr. Vazquez in his car listening to the dramatic final round by Darryl A. Montgomery earlier... If Hector does make it out there this week the pressure will be on him to catch up to the competition.

Chantres brought his whole basement of old woods, hybrids, and long irons to the course this week. Even made a few calls to a buddy who knows a buddy of a buddy's cousin that called the great Roy Mcavoy to come caddy, and STILL..will not be enough to catch ollllll' D. MontGUMPery.
-32 finish i believe not 100% sure

Victor Lane is NOT pleased with seeing his name bumped to third when he looked this morning. Consider yourself added to the "rivals" list.
