Looks like a stiff test for us this week at Hazeltine National Golf Club. Play well and hit'em straight. Feel free to chat about your rounds here....

Victor Lane, Darryl A. Montgomery, and Hector Vazquez are catching a charter flight to the grounds on Tuesday morning, hoping to get some practice in before hitting the course together no later than Wednesday.

Charter flight?!? I’m on an 18 hour Greyhound bus! Just hoping my clubs don’t fall out and get lost on the highway!

I am such a moron and decided to continue my first round after being +9 thru 14. I told Curtis & Eric i wouldn't be competing again but im guessing my ego got in the way and decided i could over turn all of that deficit and somehow win. That is stupid from me because i still finished at +10 for the first round.
Started the 2nd round and apparently lies mean jack **** now and the ball goes straight and the wind also doesn't affect the ball at all. Again i was shaking like a leaf.
So my first round will appear on the leader board but no more will. I wish my ego would just sit down and stop appearing and telling me to do something. I have kind of upset myself in the process of all of this. I had promised i would play along with others and i have let people down yet again.
Anyway, good luck to the rest of you! Shoot well.

Once again Daryl A. Montgomery was hard to beat, while Hector Vazquez and Victor Lane gave it their best shot, finishing 6 strokes behind their travel comrade. Scorecards will be posted soon (including another 4th round disappointment for Victor, who still needs more work with his sports psychologist to eliminate these final round stumbles). Great fun this week again, really having a blast on this tour! Round 1 Round 2 Round 3 Round 4

Gave a lot of strokes away this week, but we can fix that....or so we think ;-) I have worked out what each club that use does in terms of yardage which I needed to fine tune. Now I need to work on chips/pitches and try and find a solid putting method. Not sure about particating next week if I'm not confident enough. Let's just wait and see.

Awesome rounds guys your all playing great, a triple bogie from under 10ft in the 3rd round killed me mentally and the fact fact that my putting has left me, its almost like Mr. Waring slipped his putter into my bag. anyway good luck to everyone yet to finish up.

The new blood is shaking up the leaderboards the last two weeks. I’m having a blast competing with everyone on the BCT!

Hector Vazquez caught a late night flight back to Ecuador after finishing -36 for the tournament. After a battle this week trying to keep up with his playing partners Darryl A. Montgomery and Victor Lane, he reflected on his rounds during the flight. The stumble for Hector came in his first round at Hazeltine, struggling to grab early birdies as he watched Darryl go on a tear. Thinking a good finish was out of reach his nerves began to calm. This allowed him to find a groove in rounds 2, 3 and 4.
Hector spent the final bit of his $186 earnings from last week on his cab ride back to his house from the airport. Luckily for him a low budget private airline company has chosen to sponsor some of his air travel as long as he keeps quiet about the cargo he sees being loaded onto the plane with him. Until the time comes to board his plane to The Steinbach Reserve next week he will be talking with some fellow Ecuadorian footballers about ways to calm his nerves before tournaments. The BCTour is becoming more popular than he was prepared for when he was given his card. In order for Hector to find his place among the big names and up-and-comers on this tour he is going to have to prove his fortitude. Only time will tell if he is able to hang with the BCT superstars.

I think we will, I'm having a blast. Being able to stream the rounds WITH friends playing LIVE is awesome too, that adds so much fun to it, especially when we're all battling it out like we did this week.

Myself and Peter Vettori decided to join this tour because we were tired of the inconsistent swing tempo on Pro and above. Hoping to have fun again. I didn't shoot all that well but the swings were less frustrating. Only thing I would suggest is maybe vary up the tee boxes sometimes. Have only played one tournament so can't really judge.
