Routing and general feel of the course is pretty much all set. Going for some Tara Iti vibes with a tropical twist (and I hate tropical). 18 holes rolling along a peninsula that juts out into the ocean and that make their way through the natural dunes and lush barrancas that make up the land (we’ll have to see what the plant meter feels about that last part). Two holes roughly thrown in, we will see where this one takes me.
Not sure on all the elements yet, but the ones I’m aiming for for sure include:
- driveable par 4
- 3 par 4s under 400
- template green(s)
- course under 6,750 yards (will probably add a back tee as well that will play much longer)
If I can figure out streaming on my setup I just might have a few late night ones... no promises there
