i always have to reboot my computer to get my xbox one wired controller to work with this golf game. Is there a setting i have to change?

When you're on tee, press the start button (or esc) and assign controller in the menu, when the assign window opens press the A button on the controller. The game does that sometimes, especially if you got another controller, flight stick or steering wheel connected it seems to get confused. |

only issue i have is the controller must be connected before starting the game

I got another controller and I had the same issue. Overall I did all the steps that deathstar recommended and solved the problem. It's not the best thing to reboot your computer all the time, so consider that. I also have installed a windows 10 registry cleaner and it blocks any suspicious or malicious content, so such things rarely happen to me. I have to give credit to my best friend who helped me figure out that the controller was the problem. I've heard that many people have the same issue, so it's a common problem. |

This is a pretty familiar problem that my brother went through. His Xbox was having some problems and wouldn't turn on. My brother is a huge fan of these consoles and computer games, so he often uses his xbox. So the device may have been giving problems. I think you should use services that repair devices in this case. After that, I would turn to the use of free google play credit because it is the most interesting option of all those I have tried. This method I like the most. |
