Do any of you LIDAR wizards take requests?

Perhaps It depends on what the course is like and more importantly whether or not decent quality LiDAR data is available for it.

Would you check to see if Sickleholme Golf Club, Bamford, UK is available? It's my home course. A short one but with some decent elevation changes and amazing views as it's in a national park.

I don't want to commit to anything since I'm a bit 'booked up' right now and want to make sure I don't burn out. I got 3 more courses coming soon, of which one is 1-2 weeks away from being published. I gave the website a look and the Google Earth imagery. It's short but seems like a sweet course! Par 69 is kinda cool as well, especially for the meme fans. The first major hurdle for it would be checking to see what the available lidar data is like. It has a few difficult holes, and while it also has several very short holes they look pretty interesting. I'm not sure how much the gamepad community would go crazy for it but the sim guys would probably love it.
Just wondering, do you think you might be interested in learning how to make lidar courses? I'm no 'wizard' btw, just some hack who has been doing this for a full month

I'd be happy to show you how sometime! It is a tedious process at times but the end result is really cool. Feel free to shoot me a private message and/or check out NobleMan's tutorial video. There is a lot of other forum material worth reading which might answer some of your questions.

Looks like there is lidar available for Sickleholme Golf Club, only from 2008 or earlier though so no idea how up to date that will be.

LANSBROOK GOLF CLUB Palm Harbor, FL Would love if any designers with Lidar abilities would give this a go. Nicest course I’ve ever played in my hometown. It’s a Par 72 that plays 6846 from the tips. Some awesome Par 3’s with lots of water looming, and tree lined fairways that give you the feel of being in the middle of a forest on others. The attached scorecard has a video flyover of every hole. www.lansbrook-golf.com/-scorecard

If anyone would give Carolina GC in Charlotte, NC, a go, I would be thrilled. I want to get the game on PC for Lidar but well I’m on Mac and have no clue how to do bootcamp. The course co-hosted the 2018 US Mid Ametaur so it’s got some prestige. If anyone does the course I really wouldn’t care if you did not add plants and trees but Google Earth has the course in 3d if you want to give trees a go. Cheers.

I have seen The Honors Course floating around as a potential project. No idea if someone was working on it or was just considering it.
