For those that have done this , what are the main differences ?
I get that the cone will be narrower and the shank or pull can be harsher if the tempo is not perfect but I read that putting might be more difficult ? In what way ?
Any help will be appreciated.
Also , do any of you switch back and forth between Master & Pro , how do you find that ?

As you said, the main difference is the narrower cone and harsher penalties for mistakes. It's easier to hit fast or slow or very fast, etc. The margins for error are small. Rather than the ball fading based on poor tempo, it veers abruptly. It's very pronounced.
I switch quite a bit depending on how I'm playing. I generally practice with masters and play my tour rounds with pro, UNLESS I'm really dialed in that week. At some point I'll go solely to masters, but I'm not willing to commit to them in CC tours.

Accuracy - I have two guys - a Tour Club me and a Master Club me wit ha different name. Tour Clubs I'm a 22 handicap and Master I'm a 14 handicap.
I LOVE Master but score worse - I HATE the Master putters. Why would they have a different putter is beyond me.
MASTER is MUCH more fun but Tour I score much better with accuracy

With pro clubs you can have some variation in your stroke and still putt the ball straight, with Master clubs it's harder to putt it exactly straight. Any variation can slightly "push" or "pull" the putt off-line.

Any variation can slightly "push" or "pull" the putt off-line. Yep, one of the biggest differences I noticed when I gave pro clubs a try. And yes there's variation within the cone, which is proportional to the size of the cone. So a master club putt that goes right but doesn't quite reach the end of the cone will still be pushed right a tad, enough to miss a 15ft putt for sure. On pro clubs the very same swing would almost certainly go in because you're not even close to threatening the cone edge. It's not a different clubset as it was in TGC2 which had some risk/reward balance, it's a genuine video game difficulty setting in TGC19.

I kept joking to my buddy about putting with MASTER clubs. I CAN'T PUTT with the MASTER putter - then I find out THEY ARE DIFFERENT. Blew me away.
And I have never ever reached the end of the cone putting. Is that actually a thing? My putts are 100% of the time about 1/4 cone and I doubt I have ever touched the side of the "cone".

I made the switch a couple of weeks ago and yes, the cone is much narrower and putting in particular can be quite harsh - I've taken to aiming slightly left of centre to allow for the fact that I can't seem to hit a putt anywhere other than the right edge of the cone. The biggest problem for me however has been the tempo - when playing with Pro clubs my downswing was verging on fast but just stayed within perfect - now if I use the same technique I'm fast nearly every time. So I've had to change my style completely which has led to great variation in my level of success with Master clubs so far - ever searching for a bit of consistency...

Although I would prefer to play with Master clubs, I simply don't have the patience to persevere with them. Too many rounds ruined with fast/slow swings forced at crucial times, i.e shots to greens. Just recently I received an exemption to the Web.com, I was disappointed that an option to remain in the CC-A wasn't given, as I would have preferred to remain in a tour I was enjoying rather than have to play with Masters and become so inconsistent. So as I have no real Tour to play in until I return to the CC-A. I play with Masters for the 1st two rounds of the Web.com, (miss the cut each week), and then play every other round or society with Pro's.
I will add here, that when I play the 1st two rounds of the Web.com, I try and concentrate on every shot in order to make the cut. But as soon as the game starts forcing erroneous shots on me that I know I haven't played, that's when the frustration sets in.

Masters putter is the most frustrating thing to me. I live on the inside right edge of the cone. With a Pro putter (assuming pancake flat and aiming center cup) that results in a dead center putt to 16'. The same right edge cone putt with Masters will result in a miss right from as close as 6'.
Chips/Flops/ pitches are also infinitely easier with Pros. I get up and down inside 65y about 90% of the time with Pro. With Master's I'm about 50%.
If you're switching up- spend some time dialing in your chips/ flops/ pitches...

I have used the US Open qualifiers to finally give this a try. I never even played a single practice shot with the Master clubs, but I was not really caring about the result, I would never make it to the required top 10 nevertheless. I have to say I am surprised about the results. I managed to finish under par and am very happy about it. Of course the deviations are much more present than before, but I pay the price with pleasure in order to get that huge yardage difference. Since I am at CC-D and competing at some societies with most of the top players around here, I am developing the feeling that the courses and tournament conditions are thought to give the Masters users an advantage (that they deserve due to playing w the difficult clubs). With the Pro clubs I am landing very often at positions that require long irons or woods (190 to 220 yards) for the approach shot and therefore making very difficult to land and stop at the green and have a real chance at the birdie. With the Master clubs, I converted such 190ers into 130-150ers, which are much more easy to land. I am ready to lose consistency with the first hits, even land in the rough often that I would wish, if that means getting to play 8I, 9I or wedges for the crucial approach shot... I am more than happy to pay the price! I will however continue testing, not that I was too lucky on this first try

Wanna test just how mentally stable you are?
Switch from Masters to Pros..then back to Masters

I switched from pro to masters about 3 weeks after I started playing TGC. Once I started scoring 9-10 under every round, pros got boring. Initially I was terrible after the switch. Couldn’t hit a green to save my life and was scoring +5 to +7. Perfect-perfect was a rarity. But like anything else, practice practice practice paid off and my scores dropped back to about 5 under. What I found most beneficial was to pay attention to my own tendencies. 90% of the time I’ll pull my putts slightly so I know to take that into account because even a slight miss hit will result in a missed putt if not compensated for on master clubs.
Now I’m moving on to playing with fewer assists (green grid and putting marker only). I think it’s important to keep the game challenging for yourself. I could go back to pro clubs and score on nearly every hole, but where’s the fun in that?
My goal is to eventually play respectably with no assists.

i know i'm in the minority here..but I love the difficulty of the MC. I actually wish it was harder. Im hoping they come up with a more difficult way to play on the next game, maybe having to use both joysticks.. I play many rounds against ghost rounds and see guys hit 14 fairways and 18 greens. it's not realistic. i know people enjoy a more "arcade" experience, but for me, i look for a more realistic experience. matter of fact, on all full swings i intentionally hit a fade or a draw because that's how i play in real life. there are no straight shots in Golf.

I’ve recently switched and seem to be adjusting ok. Biggest problem for me seems 5-6x a round I have a very fast downswing...and my ball ends usually OB.
