Here's one that probably warrants the call because it could get a TGCT tour date: Tahoe Mt. Club (Old Greenwood), Truckee, CA (Jack Nicklaus Signature Course) This is the new home for the PGA's Barracuda Championship. Until this year, it was always played here in Reno at Montreux G&CC (my RCR is Montreux Barracuda in the game). Jimmy, I checked this out. There is excellent Lidar data (Q1) available, and someone has already mapped the course in OSM. I did not make the effort to figure out who that was. I used Chad's tool and put together a course file which looks good in the designer. It does use 48% of the plant meter though, without any trees, so it may be touchy to do the planting. If anyone is interested in this let me know and I can send the Course file. I could possibly do it in the future but do not know when I would get to it so I am happy to pass it on.

Make sure it's not one of those where the data only covers 2/3 of the course: a lot of the new Cali data has significant gaps in its coverage, and it's possible that said course was dropped by someone else as a result.

I could try it but my PC is an old bucket of bolts that takes forever to process stuff. I could at least take a peep at it I think. Will check it out later today. I probably need to get an updated Chad program though.

It is not that way Adam, It covers the whole course, I made a plot that is complete. Lidar is from 2014 USFS Tahoe National Forest Lidar, available through a site called Open Topography It was a huge (335 MB ) .laz file. How about these specs: VERTICAL ACCURACY 3.3 cm HORIZONTAL ACCURACY 0.6 POINT SPACING 0.34 m The plot looks good to me.

sandsaver01 If the plot is good and the data is low on artifacts, those are insanely good specs. Easily upper half of QL1 data quality.

So i got the Tahoe Forest .laz files and was able to get through editing the mask file in Paint 3D. But when I export it, I'm not seeing anything in the file folder I created. image below may be a full size screen shot of my desktop but it's where I'm at after selecting export a few times. I never see the course file to copy back to the game directory.

If you want to do the course I can just send you the course file I have made from the Lidar and OSM and you can go from there. That .laz file you are working with is not the one I used, but mine had better Quality levels and was from 2014. Let me know and I can send it to you.

I don't understand why the course isn't exporting. Not like this is the first time I've done this, smh. I got through every step leading up to export just fine with the lidar file I got from Open Topography. I fully expected this to work after editing the Mask file..... ??

Resolved the issue with this mask file. I'll give this Old Greenwood a crack.

My computer is too old to build Old Greenwood on the PC version of the game.
Hopefully someone else can pick it up.

Hi, there’s a course that is incredible and should be on TGC2019 mainly because it is an island course. It is called Gasparilla inn Golf Club, and it is located in Boca Grande, FL
