I’ve had each version of this game (TGC, TGC2 and TGC19) and played on TGCTours since the 2015/16 season. Since TGC2 I have played every single round, practice or tournament, in TST-style rules.
Here - I plan to showcase my bitter TST rivalry with Gavin McCabe...

2015/16
Luke Oswin: 15th ($4.9m)
Gavin McCabe: 35th ($2.3m)
Oswin beat McCabe by 20 places and $2.6m. McCabe was heard drunkenly saying ‘This putt looks straight’ way too many times this season as he adjusted to actually reading greens instead of relying on a green grid.
Oswin, unnerved, played some solid, if unspectacular golf, including a top-10 in the US Open at Oakmont.
Unfortunately all the data (minus the money list and winners) from this season seems to be lost so who knows what Gav’s best finish was...

2016/17
Luke Oswin: 10th ($6.0m)
Gavin McCabe: 12th ($4.9m)
With the announcement of TGC2 came a shorter season and had less players playing due to people giving up on TGC1. This meant Oswin somehow was the 10th best player. Unbelievable Jeff!
McCabe has now adjusted to TST golf and closed the gap on Oswin finishing only 2 places and $1.1m behind.
The tournaments have been lost in history so we don’t know each other’s best performance. All we know is that Oswin is now 2-0 up on McCabe. Hehe.

2017/18
McCabe: 30th ($2.7m)
Oswin: 35th ($1.7m)
McCabe won his first season - in what was a way more competitive season during TGC2. 5 places and $1m better off.
Pretty sure there’s some stats stored away for this season so will add to this post accordingly...
As it stands it’s Oswin 2-1 McCabe.

Oswin: 36th ($1.8m)
McCabe destroyed Oswin in 2019.
