My second ever event and after just missing the cut last week, I think I'm in pretty good shape this week. Shot a 66 in round 1 followed by a 63 in round 2, to currently put me in a tie for 4th at -15! Still a little disappointed because I let a few birdie opportunities slip away, but this is a tough course, so I'll happily head to the clubhouse with my -15 after two rounds

Looking forward to my first tournament on the web.com tour, as I just finished Q school, but holy hell this course is a beast! I'm planning on logging my first two rounds this evening, hoping to stay under par, although each of my practice rounds have actually gotten progressively worse (from under par to over par)! These greens are pretty nuts, and not in a "if you practice at it you'll get better" kind of way. Must have had first round jitters - posted a 77 after missing some frustrating putts (glad I'm not the only one who thinks the greens are poo-poo). Bounced back and shot 69 for my second round but I am pretty sure a +2 won't make the cut. First goal accomplished - 1 round under par - next goal, make that cut!

Always a good approach to focus on those iterative improvements.

Ugh.....sitting in a tie for 5th place at -15 after two rounds, and just played rounds three and four only to put up two rounds of 69. Thought I was looking pretty good in this tournament until I played two horrific rounds today. Looks like I played myself out of a decent finish. Oh well, I got my PGA Tour exemption from last week's event at Coyote Canyon, so maybe I'll pull of a miracle and earn my PGA Tour card next week!!

The pin placements suck on this course. Not that I missed a ton...but they suck in general....borderline unfair and ruined the course for me Someone obviously pissed in the greenskeeper's Wheaties when the pins were cut for this course....

I gave up after the 4th hole on the second round. Twice in a row on the fourth hole my drive went sideways off the fairway. I'm beginning to think there is some glitch in the game because every once in awhile my drive is slicing way off to the right and it happens about once every round. Playing on the PC with a XBox 360 controller. Compound that with winds up to 19 mph and it was game over and any chance of making the cut. Too bad since my first round I shot a 66 and second round got a 83. Using my exemption next week for the PGA so it should be interesting.

Back when I was on the PGA, cuts were usually between -15 and -20.

So this was my very tournament entry on the tgctour. I was very excited after waiting a week and a half after completing tour school. I was actually surprised to find that the winds were very mild for all of my rounds. Came out blazing with a -9 63 in the first round, then struggled through the 2nd round, but managed to birdie 16 thru 18 to finish -5, and -14 through 36. I'm going to assume thats way good for the cut as I see I'm posted in the Top 10. I did go ahead and finish out my rounds 3 & 4, by then I had grown exhausted w the ridiculous difficulty of the greens. I don't think courses that are n the "C-tier" should have darn near impossible to make 6 footers. I swear I left a dozen strokes on the course missing putts less than 10 feet. I also lost out on 3 strokes in my last round by my thumb slipping off of my ps4 joystick on 2 separate occasions, one leading to a 67% shanked drive resulting in a double bogey, and leaving a 3 ft putt short. Despite these petty aggravations I still thoroughly enjoyed the experience and look forward to many more future tournaments on the tour.

I was not looking forward to playing this course at all, hated the winds but most of all,not one hole had a flat putt.Even 3 foot putts had tons of slope, glad it is all over.Round one was my best score ever on this course,a -8.I definately felt I escaped with a great opening score.Reality set in for rounds two and three, posting a 73 and 72.I was shaking my head on every hole wondering why I love torturing myself.I closed with a 66,finishing -13 for the tourney.I will never play this course again unless it is forced upon me in tournament play.Looking forward to the flighted format in 2 weeks.

Closed out the tournament with two 70's to finish -12 (69-67-70-70). Hated the course-just no flat putts (echoing everyone else's sentiment). Also did not get friendly winds out there. In both my third and final rounds, I was over par on the back nine (had a lot of trouble with 10 and 11 for some reason). Hoping I placed myself in the Web.com "A" flight once the flighting happens.

I wish I hadn't looked at the leader board, only missed the cut by two strokes..That's a little depressing
