HISTORY
2016-2019
During this period I played TGC1 & TGC2 casually. Although I signed up on TGCTours website in 2017, I never really played in any events. Not sure why I was not more into it then. I think I was impatient and would quit the game every few weeks in frustration.
March 2019
- Started playing golf again in real life. Made me buy TGC2019.
- Joined the beginner tour. Did 1 tournament, didn't play very well.
- Started watching youtube videos / streams to improve my game
April 1st 2019
- QSchool during masters week. Shot 68, 75, 79, 83. It's obvious that the pressure got to me. Got placed in CC-Z.
April 8th 2019
- Rumblefish Open. My first tournament ever on an actual tour. Tied for 34th (-18) and shot 67, 66, 64, and 69. Compared to my performance in beginning and q-school I was really proud of these scores. Although it wasn't top 25 I know my skill was heading in the right direction.
April 15th 2019
- Beau's Brewing Company Tapped Keg Open (VICTORY #1). All the practice paid off! I shot a -43 and was able to come in first place in CC-Z. This bumped me up to CC-G.
- Note for the future: PLAY PRACTICE ROUNDS WITH ACTUAL CONDITIONS. This helped a lot. Also, on this course I was able to go for the green on a par 4 and eagle it twice. Key to my success.
April 23rd 2019
- Just got done playing my rounds for the Promo Event and CC-G event. I did TERRIBLE in the Promo Event. The greens were hard and I should have practiced more and came up with a strategy. For the CC-G event (Pain Stewart Memorial) I played pretty well. Finished my rounds at -34. However, after round 1 I'm in 22nd place with the leaders at -14. Definitely not in Cc-Z anymore. This will be tough to get a win.
Time to start practicing now for the Guy Harvey Caribbean Classic. My goal is to get 1-2 rounds in every day from now until the 29th.
April 28th 2019
- Results are in from my first week in CC-G. Payne Stewart Memorial - Finished tied for 7th. Although I didn't play my best, happy to have made top 10.
-I did not play well in the promo event so curious what tour I'll be placed in come tomorrow.
-MASTER CLUBS: My goal is start using master clubs soon. That way by the next promo event I'm used to them and can go for a tour card.
