I've started using the fade/Draw for stronger winds and wow.. what a difference it makes. Normally with a 15 mph wind right to left I'd aim 28 clicks to the right. The problem is the ball comes into the flag from the right and would roll a lot more than I was comfortable with. Fading/drawing against the wind, we can go back to the normal amount of roll for a 5 iron or a 3 iron. Really makes a difference. Just scored -13 on Lion's Gate in 10-14mph!! Thought you turned off the straight shooter settings? ;-) I did!! i followed that up with a -9, -12 and -5 LOL. Putting is sure different when you aren't hitting it straight every time!

fascinating. the wind on the first q-school course - about 13-19 mph - was giving me fits. (I was using aim only) now I am going to give this a try - as best as I can understand it...

yeah I try to use a combo of the clicks and fade/draw. Sometimes it works and some times it doesn't because of how straight my shot is. I'm ok with up to 10 mph, it is 13-19 that kills me.

I also use a combo. Anything under 7 MPH I just aim (no clicks, just feel), and anything over that I adjust fade/draw and aim as well.

Here is a shortened, but full round at Lions Gate CC Round 1 pins. Although the wind is light, you can see how I use loft, fade and drawn to hold the greens and counteract the wind
Note that I am attacking every pin on this course
Finished at -15

You are making a pretty good case for the "driving the ball is too easy" camp.... Exhibit A right there. Not taking anything away from your skill, but that level of driving should just not be possible.
It is funny that while driving is overpowered a lot, approaches are not that easy, and even a top rated player like yourself is not hitting it that much closer than IRL tour pros.

Driving on this game is by far and away the easiest part of the game, especially when you can eliminate the wind with fade/draw. My approaches in the video are a little rushed to save time and space, so usually get a little closer.. There are a couple holes that I nailed though You are right though, approaches are probably the most difficult part of the game, then putting

I noticed you do about the same changes on fade/draw as I do. I find that the shorter clubs you have to put a little bit more on due to their time in the air. One question i see you still use the arrow keys to adjust yourself slightly from time to time... is that to adjust for ball slope?

I'll use the wind from the tee as long as the landing area is wide enough. On approach shots it depends entirely on which direction I want the ball coming from when it hits the green. If I need it going right to left to use the slopes but the wind is left to right...well you have to work the ball. If I need it to stop more quickly I'll work it into the wind as well as that will help hill the ball a little bit.

But since the greens are sloped so gently, I didn't really need to do that

This seems to be the missing piece. This now opens a whole new set up doors. Attachments:

I've been fiddling with this for a while now, just needed that extra step.

How do you SEE ground slope? Is it guess work, when it is not totally obvious? Or is there some view button that i am not aware of? (On xbone)
