Saw this as well, thanks for posting Brian. Especially in this game with limited plant meter, having a few "wow" spots and routing around them is super smart.

Awesome article - it's something I've noticed a number of designers do really well and it's great when it doesn't feel forced. Particularly love it when you see a hole or a landmark from the front nine as you're closing back in on the clubhouse, or you get to that green you'd spotted previously. For me, SindreRev is the one who comes to mind reading this. Devil's Creek gave me that feel the whole way through
