The King & Bear golf course gets its name from both designers. Palmer earned the nickname “The King” during his playing career, while Nicklaus adopted the “Golden Bear” moniker. Measuring 7,279 yards from the back tees and 5,119 yards from the forward tees, the course is sure to challenge avid golfers while providing player-friendly conditions for beginners. The layout puts a premium on driving, which should come as no surprise as both Palmer and Nicklaus were known for their power at the height of their playing careers. Golfers will also experience Nicklaus’ inviting fairways and Palmer’s fast greens. Taking tips throughout. Ill post pictures when I can. Thanks! I'll see you out there!

Is this complete or under construction? I played there 2 weeks ago, and have close to 100 pictures I took as I was going round. Lovely course Enjoy putting in all the rockwork (5th and 15th especially - plus just in front of that 1st tee) PS Don't forget to put in the alligator by the 9th tee which we spotted

Will need to re-name them all over the weekend so they are identifiable, and send some then. Any particular holes you'd like?
EDIT: Change of plan - sent pics of holes 1-3 so far

Change of plans. Anyone interested in finishing this? Haha Im working off a laptop that isnt meant for designing. I powered through Musket Ridge, but Ive decided to go back to xbox designs until a computer upgrade.

Do you want to give flat planting a chance? tgctours.proboards.com/thread/18412/workaround-laggy-designer-lidar

So I did that and most of the water features, i.e. lakes, are above the ground level due to them being on elevated terrain.

Yeah, anything that has an elevation will float until you bring the land back in. Most plants, trees, rocks, and even buildings you can place on the flat ground or even flatten the whole plot using landscape flatten.
When you’re ready, you bring the terrain back and everything will be at the right heights.

Well I should have saved as... I removed the terrain, but went back and added it and lost all of my water. Normally wouldnt be a big deal but I had to make 3 bunkers go into the water. Easier said then done. I clearly did something wrong. Welp...on to the next one.

Hopefully you can get that better computer soon. I started on a craptop and it was like 10-12 seconds per 'click' to do anything in the editor with a lidar course, on a better one (some MSI thing with 6700HQ processor I believe and GTX1060 mobile GPU, it's <3s per click). It takes around twice as long to do it on a crappy laptop.
Really looking forward to this course whenever it is done, considering just how well Musket turned out. Played that course IRL once as it's not terribly far from me and there was nothing that stuck out as out of place. Hoping to have similar results with my courses when they're finished.

Thats when I lost my water. I dont like the idea of planting without knowing the terrain. It throws off the picture references.

Yeah I think the water might need to be added last. It would hover in flat mode while you’re planting. Can help for bulk things like grasses.
I really wish the water could be automated but it’s so limited.
