Wow! VctryLnSprts you crushed this one. Played this one last night and had a blast on it. Your environment is top notch and you really feel engaged when playing this. The bunkering is amazing, not sure how you get them that smooth?!? Great routing and layout with lot of shots making you think twice. I will be back! |

Played it last night with Dwain. I told him it reminded me of some of the courses I play around here. I didn't read your promo until this morning and that's when it came together "Lake Marion." This is the exact type of course around the Santee and Midlands area minus the 8000 yardage bit. Nice job Eric. It is a beauty.

I played this morning and posted a score to shoot for 9 under. I eagled 1 and 18 everything went my way.

This is probably top two or three of my all time favorite courses for this game
The course just speaks US Open style... Plenty of options, plenty of trouble lurking if you get too crazy
amazing sight lines and some of the best "boreal bunkers" I have seen... How you make those lips on those bunkers look so natural is beyond me
Outstanding work, I mean absolutely outstanding
Beautiful course Nesbit.... Loved it man

Excellent course. The sculpting, layout, texture choices and lighting are flawless. I would have to agree the yardage isn’t the biggest challenge (although it is a factor), but the placement of the trees and water hazards provokes a lot of thought and plays fair. I wasn’t a fan of that tree in front of the green on 18 (played pin 2), feel like at least to that pin the water hazard creates an interesting enough shot, but looking at the green that’s probably the only pin I would’ve felt that way about it. Nice to see a challenging course that isn’t tricked up with wild greens or pins tucked a couple paces behind every bunker. Very well done Eric, definite 5 star from this guy.

Great job, Eric. Awesome course that’s going to be tough to beat. Only complaint I have is the OB being pretty close to playable areas like on the first green. Also, am I the only one that sees a goat?  |

I don't mind the OB being close to the playable areas at all. You just have to be very wary of where they are.

Yea, I have almost never used OB in any of my designs, but I decided to make the outside perimeter of this one OB. It's definitely really close on hole 1, but it's supposed to be difficult, right?

Finally got a chance to play this course and was super impressed. Needed a lot of thought to plot my way around which I really enjoyed. Excellent environment too. That running creek system beside the clubhouse is top notch. Well done to you Eric. All the best in this competition.
