Panther Creek Golf Club is my first course published for TCG 2019 and my first since way back on the original TGC. Pretty pleased with how it turned out. It's a rustic theme with 2 tees and 4 pin sets. It's listed as 7,553 from the back tees, although because of elevation changes I would say it doesn't play quite that long. Should be a fun, challenging course that isn't difficult enough to make you want to toss any virtual clubs into the creek. I'd love for y'all to give it a play, and any feedback would be greatly appreciated. I am in the early stages of building another course, so I could really use some critiques.

Just played your course and enjoyed the layout. The sightlines off the tees are very good. My only advice is maybe a bit more planting like grass on the the sides along the fairways. And 18th fairway is way too narrow for a hole that has water running along the side. It seemed not more than 20 feet wide. Other than that great course. Good luck with the 2nd one. Cheers

Wow this course is great. Now its a little rough round the edges in some places, but you excell in the eye candy around the course. The stuff you did with the neighbourhood was some of the best I've seen. and man that clubhouse is great Loved some of the flower work too. Here's some shots of the course too Just felt in some areas especially round the course there couldve been more planting and work done. 12 for example is pretty baron until you get to the green. I'm gonna pick this for my diamond as I think a bit of exposure and few extra plays will hopefully give you better feedback on some of the course side of things. I really enjoyed my round. Was a little tough and narrow in places. Especially 18. Great job man.

I really appreciate the feedback, gents. Y'all are really confirming some things that I was thinking but wasn't completely sure of. Fairway width was something I really struggled with, I wanted to make tee shots interesting and challenging, but went overboard in a couple areas, specifically 18 as y'all have pointed out. My next course I'm really focusing on making wider fairways, but trying to focus on angles so that hitting an accurate tee shot to the right area will still be more rewarding than a shanked drive, without being as penal as it is at times on this course.
As far as planting goes, I'm glad my neighborhood is being well received. I feel like I'm pretty strong at planting and designing man-made areas. But as y'all have noticed, I don't have as keen of an eye for the more natural planting. I'm going to keep studying the beautiful courses that y'all are pumping out and try to "borrow" some ideas from those. Thanks guys!

Try planting different types of grass around the trees and add some brush as for fairway width you can have narrow sections but in general I keep mine at a minimum of 30 yards up to whatever you feel is right depending on how the hole plays. Also check out the Twitch videos by Matt27 and crazycunnuck which have a lot of helpful ideas.

My turn
I ended up having to split the 9s because work sucks. This course shows a lot of promise. Your par 5s were especially good. Looking forward to your next installment.

Played this with VctryLnSprts and Pyro on stream earlier. He gives a bit of feedback for you. Again great course.

Seriously appreciate y'all taking the time to give it some plays and giving me a bunch of feedback. I've also really enjoyed watching y'alls streams, entertaining stuff.
Got a good laugh out of y'all asking if I thought I was playing The Sims or Cities: Skylines while I was designing; I was indeed playing Cities at the same time I was designing the neighborhood, and yeah I kinda tried to combine the two.
Y'all were wondering about the stars. I'm a Texan. We put gratuitous stars everywhere. We don't apologize for it. That bunker is awful though haha, I probably should have gotten rid of it, but I'm stubborn and thought it was kinda funny. And that massive bed of flowers was the most evil thing ever. It ended up looking fairly cool, but my lord did it take a ridiculous amount of mind-numbingly boring hours. I'll credit adderall and xanax with an assist on that one.
Good feedback on fairway smoothness, it's something I'll focus more on my next course. For whatever reason that's just something I didn't pay much attention to on this one. It is interesting how I can focus so much on some details, but little things like that don't even catch my attention. Though I'll defend myself a bit on 6, that was the first hole I built on this course and that fairway was made before I realized how much better splines were. <facepalm> I obviously should have gone back and redid it, but somehow never realized just how awful a couple parts of it were. Also some good thoughts from y'all on the bunkers that I'm going to try to work on.
But again thanks so much for the plays and the kind words. Definitely helps encourage me to put in the effort on my next one. I got a real kick out of y'all wandering through my neighborhoods, and I'm so glad someone actually found my school with sports fields haha. Made that out of boredom one day just to play around with the tools and didn't actually expect anyone to find it. And it's satisfying to know y'all love my clubhouse, I had a blast making that thing and was quite proud of it.
