I can do the OSM for courses but the Lidar I have no idea what I’m doing so if somebody an be my lead and grab the Lidar files would be great and I’d be truly grateful, cheers

Hi guys, I’m seriously computer illiterate and have no clue how to get the Lidar data files that I require for these tracks, any help in this area would be greatly appreciated, these 2 courses should translate great in game too, further down the track I plan on doing some Melbourne Sandbelt tracks, Huntingdale and Royal Melbourne will be the 2 I look to first Appreciate you having a crack at some Aussie Courses,not enough of them from down under I am just up the road from Robina and Brookwater.I watched a tourney at brookwater a few years back, course looks ptetty good Seems like not much Lidar in Australia, I love Tobacco Road in USA but no osm, i left a message about that but no reply, so wont bother Cheers rod for your efforts with Aussie stuff anyway, hope you get some help with these |

There’s actually a fair ammount of Lidar covering Australia but I’m a nufty when it comes to using a PC, I’ve watched your video Chad but it may as well have been in French as I couldn’t compehend most of it and then when the Lidar site is different to the one you used for Australia I’m just at a loss and petty annoyed with myself to be honest, I’m eager as to get to work on these but I’m no good with coding and copy and pasting and extracting and any other thing that’s not as simple as a simple click and drag...... I need a partner in crime that has all this computing stuff down.... Once I have what is needed in the GNCD I’ll be sweet but getting there is so frustrating, sigh!

If anyone else needs a hand with getting the LiDAR data from this site and into Chad’s tool then let me know. |
