I played it in real life. They are brutal greens!

Looks great, giving this a spin later tonight. You LIDAR folks have it made.

Awesome track! Really top-notch job Kent! I haven't played the real course, but from photos this looks amazingly real, and being Lidar I know it's super accurate. GREAT job! I got -6 on pin #2 and found it incredibly challenging and a whole lot of fun. Will be playing this again and again.
Great job!

Creating that stream is a beaaach! Ponds and water falls are easy compared to the stream throughout the course

What does Lidar mean by courses name??? It means the terrain and elevation is identical to the REAL course if you play it in real golf.

Did not realise The members at Merion was not happy with some of the changes made to the course for the 2013 open, and Turned the course back to how it was after. myphillygolf.com/detail.asp?id=15803LIDAR data captured this course perfect,Shame the water how it is in designer just can't match the precise details of the rest of the course, just due to limitations of the course designer,Maybe OOB should have been added behind the 10th green i ended up on road, but again really shows of the potential of LIDAR this course, love how the fairways and contours play, just a little shame about the water.Maybe if your do a Tours version with stands and crowds you could add the US open tee at the 5th and maybe place something on the 18th fairway which is there for Ben Hogan's plaque which is a standout feature on the course (did not see it)

Thanks for the feedback yeltzman . I will definitely take a look at putting OOB behind the green on the 10th. It is a shame about Cobbs Creek flowing through the course. I tried my best to keep the size of the creek consistant through out but some areas required me to put small water falls in. It would be nice if they would have left the tilting water panes in the game that they had in the TGC 2 Beta

One of my favorite courses in the game. I have not played the other one lately but I played yours today. It beat me up with no assits as it always does. I have to score well on the front and hang on for the back. Didn't work out lol.
Only complaint I have is the lighting is a little washed out. I put it morning and was too bright. Then changed it to dawn and it looked much better.
Fantastic job!

The settings I used are Time 5:05 PM, Orientation : 87.8 and Inclination : 66.7 degrees. It is great that 2019 allows people to tweak the lighting the way they want to play it! I am glad you enjoyed the course bud!

Just wondering on the course is the water, the water table water or water you placed there. Was only thinking about another layer of water below the water you placed and you get more of a clean look that's all.Perhaps its just me that the water just seems a bit rough compared to rest of course.
(note too mention mentions of water in this post).
