Good Morning to everyone. As many of you know, I do not design at all. I have never published a course and I find that if I did publish one, I would be criticized beyond belief. With that being said, I have decided to get my feet wet in this LiDAR system as I really enjoy the mapping process. I wanted to let everyone know that I have imported my first ever course into the game and have been playing around with it for the past several days.
Instead of doing some massive course like many are doing, I am just going to focus on Short Courses and Par 3s that have good LiDAR and have easy to view mapping. For my first project, I chose a very simple course that has beautiful views called the Cliffs at Olympic Park. I have the entire layout complete and spent a lot of time smoothing out things. The only thing I have left to do is to plant and make it look as authentic as I can. I also have an issue with the surroundings trying to make it look the coast of the Pacific, but I have people who are helping me.
