My first full endeavor into the LiDAR course builds, the Nicklaus Course at Reunion Resort is 1 of 3 courses at the Kissimmee, Florida resort, located just outside of Orlando - the other 2 courses being designed by Palmer and Watson. Here is the IRL course website, for reference: www.reunionresort.com/nicklaus.htmI was incredibly pleased with the quality of LiDAR data available for this property, and the vast majority of work in-game was done attempting to build the environment out in a way that was representative of the course, given the limitations of the TGC designer. Having played the course a few years ago, I can speak from 1st hand experience to the difficulty of the greens, being on the smaller side, with firm, fast conditions accentuating the contours of the putting surfaces.
The new tool Chad has developed is bringing about exciting new possibilities for TGC design, and this being my first published course built through this method, I'm excited to see where it takes us. Hope everyone is able to tackle these challenging greens, and certainly hope it's a fun and enjoyable round! |

Tried to setup two alt shot matches last night after you left on xb. Game would not load and crashed multiple times on different people before we just gave up. Not sure if its a fluke, a multiplayer thing, or a warning of a bigger issue that needs a process of elimination to indentify. I am going to try it as a single match and see what happens

Course played all the way through on single player Justin. Nice track...the high winds, small scale makes it play kinda tough. Like the greens too...

Played today on the sim and loved it. Knowing these courses are all perfectly sculpted to the real life course makes it even better when playing.

Really glad this was uploaded to the sim server...somehow lol. Any chance you happened to record your round? I'm very interested in how the gameplay translates from what we play to how it is on the simulator. |

I did not record any rounds today.
I think it depends on how far people hit off the tee. I usually play from 6300-6700 tees like I would IRL. I actually play with the worse clubs in the videogame and it almost replicates my distances club for club so I can go through a course and see where I need to be off the tee and into the green.
Putting is a whole other story. I am a 3 putt machine. I shot 5 over on your course with probably 3 or 4 three putts. I will play again Sunday and record it.
