Some guys can make use of reference plots - with no intention of planting - just wondering if there's a way to set the default max plot size as a usable "Lidar rectangle" in TGC Tools (instead of drawing your own) - so you can basically max out what you can pick and know where your boundaries might be based on default max plot size in the designer. Thoughts?

So you're suggesting that the red Lidar plot rectangle to have a 2km x 2km measurement attached if possible? That would also be useful for RCRs to fill the game plot with the lower resolution background terrain.
My workaround has been to have Google Maps open to the side and use their measuring tool to measure off of identifiable map objects.

The plot size can change dramatically if there are any golf holes marked in OSM, so I don't have any plans to encourage the 2000m by 2000m plots. That being said, if this becomes a highly requested feature and someone makes a photoshop or other mock up for the UI steps/where to put the buttons and the feature - then I could look into adding it as requested. The box can't default to 2000m x 2000m because it's a click and draw and there's no way to slide the box around.
