Sorry if this is a noob question... Is there a consensus best map to use when mapping a course? DigitalGlobe has much cleaner images on the course I'm doing, but doesn't seem to line up perfectly with the Bing map. Has one proven to be more accurate than the other when importing?

Generally I line up to Bing - if the other maps are clearer but not lined up you can go in the Backgrounds (B) and scroll to bottom and use the offset option to match them up as best you can. Should note that if you're planning on exiting OSM - best to jot those offset numbers down - they'll reset next time you load up.

Starting to get the hang of this and interested to see the results. Curious how bunkers in the middle of the FW with surrounding rough works. I assume some post import manipulations will be needed for things like that.

Some maps images are taken at different times, meaning the Lidar data may not line up with all of them. Best bet would be to place the 18 holes in OSM (just the lines, not all the textures), maybe outline a few bunkers across the property, import it into TGC, then fly around and make sure everything lines up. Once your confident it does, stick with the map you’ve used. If a green location seems like it’s off (terrain data clearly isn’t a green contour, I.e. just a giant hillside or something), go back to OSM and flip through the various maps to find one which lines up correctly.
Edit: atrocious autocorrect typos
