Some new changes are comimg to the CUCC Society and it will be immediately active upon the start of Season 8 Wed. 4/3
Designated Clubsets will be as follows for each Flight:
Tour Pro Flight - Master Clubset Only
Pro Am Flight - Pro Clubset Only
Amateur Flight - Master / Pro Clubset (either)
Rookie Flight - Master / Pro Clubset (either)
You MUST USE Only Designated Clubset for your Flight.
This will allow the flights to be on a more level field and should help with the advancement process of players going from flight to flight.
At the post season stage of each Season, if you have made enough points to advance to the next flight, you will be advanced to the next upper flight by default. You may decline advancement if you wish, keeping you in the same flight and same clubset for next season.

So is the showcase event the first event of the season? And can we play now? Did I miss a big announcement about what flights were in and When to play?

The Showcase event is just to show a members created course to show their creation. This one was created by New CUCC Member fellowpuppet3. Its for us to play a couple rounds on and enjoy someone else's work. The very first Season 8 event will be next Wed. 4/3. I will announce the Flights tonight when I arrange them. I will post it here in the TGCT Forum and on the website. For now The showcase Event is something to play before our Week 1 of Season 8. Enjoy ! |

Chief I’m confused. I don’t use pro clubs but I’m in a pro club only flight? Your score in the placement Tourney is what placed you in The Pro Am Flight, not what clubset you used. You scored most like the others in this flight. |

I believe the Pro Am Flight will be the most competitive fight to get to Tour Pro level and the Tour Pro level a fight to stay in because of the designated Clubsets.

I thought the idea of this was to put people into the flight to match the club set that they use? I only use masters but I’m in the pro clubs only flight. Confused???

I understand why you made the top tier Masters only but must admit I can't understand why you'd make a flight Pro only? Using Masters is a disadvantage, so surely that's up to the player?
But no worries, I'll go with it if that's your final decision.

I can’t get on with masters clubs but it’s all good chief I’ll enjoy my season with the big boys sticks. I think this had to be done though.

Ok settle down boys 😉 I was apparently looking too deep into this change and trying to keep the same skill set on top of having this new designated clubset per flight. I am making roster adjusts currently.
