No change in swing - however, during my R3 of CUCC yesterday, I had put the controller down and stepped away for about 10min - came back took my swing off the tee and immediately got that ridiculous splash screen with the fish putter and pumpkin hat.. I'm all for letting people know there's new crap they can wear - but that junk just makes the game feel like cheap garbage if you ask me. I mean how ridiculous is that frickin' pumpkin helmet? Who is really going to wear that playing a round of golf! Would've been better if they just put up some text in the load screen to check out the new apparel and equipment and left the graphic out of it..

Good stuff BENNY6676 thank you! I never even considered canceling out of calibration if I get too many shite swings.. Will have to give it a go.

Sorry Chief Banks and anyone in my group but I am not going to finish this tourney. Give me a strike and zero points. This course... in particular the greens are not worth me losing my $hit over. Rd 3 is terrible with 187 and rd 4 is more of the same. I stopped caring and just hit the ball with whatever club they gave me and didn't bother aiming. To me that says it all for me.... Do not play and keep your sanity. Yes, yes, yes you all and tell me how wonderful the challenge is, to embrace the difficulty. F- that! Clearly these green were not meant for 187.... but that is just my opinion which I am sure doesn't match any of yours but oh well. And if you do score well on this course you are a better video golfer than I am. Congrats! See you all at the club house.

Just finish and get the points Koop - I was +4 (I think) after 2 and finished tourney at +18 along with a few others.. Aside from a few, everyone is shooting worse on the last 2 rounds - so it's all relative..

I didn't think they would but they do. So, if a green that plays nicely @ Med. fast is bumped up to Very fast all the yellow and orange slope change to more sever colors. Just saying. And sorry Jeff, I appreciate your encouragement but it really isn't worth my sanity. I am withdrawing from the tourney due to mental fatigue. :-)

I did write up on calibration ages ago but I have since been able to fine tune my calibration using this method. It has worked for me and a few others so hopefully if anyone has the time, or wants to do it, it will work for you too. Start by doing a calibration where you do 10 swings with a swing that you want to make your natural swing for the game. Slow backswing, fast downswing. Slow backswing, slow downswing. Fast backswing, fast downswing. Fast back, fast down. Whatever sort of swing feels comfortable. I personally have a slower backswing with slightly more acceleration for the downswing. Do this and try and make sure the 'swing' is as close to the same for every swing then calibrate regardless of the outcome of the shots. Next have a couple of hits on the range and see what it's like. Don't worry if it's sh%$. Then go back in to calibration and do another 10 swinging 'exactly' the same way for another 10. Still don't worry too much about where the shots go. Once done go back to the range and see if you can get a couple of perfects. You may have to repeat again if not. Hopefully you've found a perfect downswing even if it's just a couple of perfects out of say 5 to 10 shots. Now go back in and calibrate again and try and hit with the exact same swing and try and hit a couple of perfects. I know you don't see your swing or the wind speed but if you did hit some perfects prior to this calibration you should know what the ball flight looks like because the wind will always be the same for the calibration as what it was in the range just before you go into the calibration. So make sure you check! Basically if you keep just going back in to recalibrate numerous times and try and get at least 5 perfects out of the 10 using the same swing in the calibration then you will start seeing results. This next bit is a must. If you get to a point where you're happy with your swing but are trying to fine tune it to try and get it better, example; you've hit 6/10 perfects in your previous calibration and you have already hit 4 bad shots then cancel the calibration immediately so it doesn't effect what you've already done. I've personally got 8/10 with 1 grey fast and a red slow swing and am striving for 10/10 perfects in there and I have one or two pops at it every day that I'm on just so see if I can do it. I just cancel as soon as I hit a bad swing. I'm happy with my swing and hit all the purple tour clubs in my bag. Don't get me wrong, I still have bad tempo sometimes because it's just so hard to consistently hit perfects on master difficulty. This process does take time and patience so it might not be for everyone but it's worked for everyone that I've told so far who's done it, so hopefully it works for whoever tries it. Good luck! Thank you very much! I'll definitely give it a try... I haven't calibrated my swing since the first tournament of TGCTours because I ended up T2 and was afraid another calibration would do more harm than good... But since then I haven't played particularly well, all rounds near par or high 60s.... Let's se how it goes, fingers crossed it will work.

No worries Koop - you're in my division, so that's better for me, LOL.. I guess as long as you're still in the top 10 when the season ends....
