Well, I hate to disagree with you Jamie but you can miss the fairway like I did, but if you do, you need to get the extra roll on the cart path :-) I did that the 1st round and stuck my second shot with 15 ft and made birdie. Rd 2 missed fairway again, in heavy rough, 197 out... scrambled for par I ghosted you Koop, teasause and billy sarstard rd 1, was good all finished within 2 shots of each other If I were you I wouldn't ghost my round 3!

I ghost the ones in my group who are above me, to see if I can close the gap, so that gives me hope Mind I’ve only done the first rd, so I don’t think you have anything to fear 😂👍

I'm fairly happy with my tempo baseline at the moment, but am intrigued to know your process? I reckon I hit 50-60% perfects on a good round, I'd rather that was 70-80%!
Wasn't tempo that did me in round 2. I was going along really nicely, had a clean card through 12 to be -4 and -6 for the tourney, at that stage only 1 shot off the leader. And then weirdly I completely lost my putting line. No matter what I did my swing line was 5 O'Clock to 1 O'clock. And then on one hole I was literally in the middle of my back swing on a testy par putt and an advert popped up on my screen for the @!$#ing pumpkin hats!! WTF??!!! 13-16 I went bogey, bogey, bogey, double bogey, absolutely raging! 😂 Somehow got it back again and finished with a par and a very good birdie on 18, so 70 and 72 for -2 through 2 rounds. I'd have taken that on this course but man, should be so much better.

I did write up on calibration ages ago but I have since been able to fine tune my calibration using this method. It has worked for me and a few others so hopefully if anyone has the time, or wants to do it, it will work for you too.
Start by doing a calibration where you do 10 swings with a swing that you want to make your natural swing for the game. Slow backswing, fast downswing. Slow backswing, slow downswing. Fast backswing, fast downswing. Fast back, fast down. Whatever sort of swing feels comfortable. I personally have a slower backswing with slightly more acceleration for the downswing. Do this and try and make sure the 'swing' is as close to the same for every swing then calibrate regardless of the outcome of the shots. Next have a couple of hits on the range and see what it's like. Don't worry if it's sh%$. Then go back in to calibration and do another 10 swinging 'exactly' the same way for another 10. Still don't worry too much about where the shots go. Once done go back to the range and see if you can get a couple of perfects. You may have to repeat again if not. Hopefully you've found a perfect downswing even if it's just a couple of perfects out of say 5 to 10 shots. Now go back in and calibrate again and try and hit with the exact same swing and try and hit a couple of perfects. I know you don't see your swing or the wind speed but if you did hit some perfects prior to this calibration you should know what the ball flight looks like because the wind will always be the same for the calibration as what it was in the range just before you go into the calibration. So make sure you check! Basically if you keep just going back in to recalibrate numerous times and try and get at least 5 perfects out of the 10 using the same swing in the calibration then you will start seeing results. This next bit is a must. If you get to a point where you're happy with your swing but are trying to fine tune it to try and get it better, example; you've hit 6/10 perfects in your previous calibration and you have already hit 4 bad shots then cancel the calibration immediately so it doesn't effect what you've already done. I've personally got 8/10 with 1 grey fast and a red slow swing and am striving for 10/10 perfects in there and I have one or two pops at it every day that I'm on just so see if I can do it. I just cancel as soon as I hit a bad swing. I'm happy with my swing and hit all the purple tour clubs in my bag. Don't get me wrong, I still have bad tempo sometimes because it's just so hard to consistently hit perfects on master difficulty. This process does take time and patience so it might not be for everyone but it's worked for everyone that I've told so far who's done it, so hopefully it works for whoever tries it. Good luck!

Thanks for that BENNY6676, I'll give it a go once I've finished this week's events. Don't want to mess with it midweek! The one thing that struck me, is why the @!$# can't we turn off the wind on the driving range?!
