Interesting comment from the patch thread: Friend who has played with red fasts is reporting that the penalties associated which might have been a bend to the left 25 yards is now seemingly random. He hit some red fasts that went straight right, for no apparent reason.

I have now played 3 rounds since the patch and have noticed no difference whatsoever. To be fair this was probably a pre-planned Halloween patch with a couple of extra minor fixes thrown in, I would still expect a more thorough patch in the near future to fix some of the glaring issues. Sadly I doubt Xbox tempo is one of them.
Played my first CUCC round. The course has a fantastic layout and looks the part but I thought some of the green sculpting left a lot to be desired. I know this because they look like mine! Still missed some putts that I shouldn't have but played well overall to card a 70. I suspect my birdie, birdie, birdie, par finish will be as good as anyone's. This one helped, and I was in this exact pose before my pixelated golfer was!
Par on the last is definitely a good score, that hole is full of danger! I was about 66% on both fairways and greens, if only I could do that in my TGCT rounds I wouldn't be collecting demotion marks for a hobby.

par 5 with fairway that is not reachable off the tee :-( Yes, wind dependent but my 288 driver barely gets there under the best conditions. Poor design :-(
Rd 2 I hit perfect 100% and didn't reach it, just saying.

...for me, i was cruising in round 1 at +2 going to 16....a 9 and a 9 on 18 for an 83......ouch.....what could have been (exhale deeply).....onward...

Plus on #6 in round 2 it started me aiming at the previous green 215y to the left off the tee lol. Good times. |
