So I've downloaded Chads tool but don't know how to use it. I've scoured the internet for a tutorial, tried to look for something in Lidar King's youtube, nothing (I did see a few things but it seemed that I would have to know more about Chads tool to understand them). Can anyone help?

Can anyone help? I used Chad's tool successfully with TGC2019, however with 2K21 it appears to not work. When I export the .course file from the tool, 2K does not recognize there is a course file, the in game designer shows blank. So not sure if he plans to update the tool, I assume there is something 2K does differently to read the file. |

A work-around for now would be to do all the Chad's tool/Lidar stuff in TGC2019, and then move the course file from the Course folder in TGC2019 to the Course folder in 2K21. I moved or copied all my Lidar builds this way and they opened just fine in the new game. |

Cheers, that's a good tip that I will use for future courses. Unfortunately for this particular one I'm working on it won't work, since all I am trying to do is use the tool to bypass the naming character limit. I can't open it and change the name in 2019 since I've put a ton of work into it with 2K so the objects would all be reset, I'm just adding tournament infrastructure to an already complete ported course. |
