I've tried to get into march madness a few times, but just can't seem to get pumped for college ball like I do the NBA. I follow the top draft prospects, but that's about it. Bet you guys will have fun with the bracket tho  I've noticed there's a NHL thread, is there any interest in doing an NBA one? Who's your teams? Or are you guys just enjoying the college game's big moment? Go Sixers! |

Honestly yeah I’m not big into the NBA either. I mean, if the Pacers ever get into position to win the championship, I’ll watch, but I just find it boring compared to College Basketball.

So, this isn’t in the TGCT Group but I just thought it was funny. I did a coin flip bracket for fun, using a RNG between 50 and 100 to determine the scores. The results were...
9 UCF beats 15 Colgate, 82-63, for the National Championship!
Anyways, the main action begins tomorrow (today on the east coast!) so good luck everyone!

honestly, i don't feel super confident about the playoffs. been a real weird season for the raps; we've had zero consistency in lineup. had injuries to valanciunas and lowry (twice,) leonard sitting out games all the time, bench guys like van vleet getting injured, then traded for gasol, got Lin in.
There's a decent chance we get detroit in the first round, and they swept us this season! Seem to have our number...
I'm not super impressed with philly either, to be honest. You should be better with that roster. And raps and celtics matchup well against you (not that either of them are super impressive!) I absolutely hate butler, but to be fair his bad habits don't seem to have come out much so far in philly. I also hate imbiid, but more in the "fun" pantomime villain way.
Bucks are very solid, but losing brogdan was a big blow...

We aren't the best team in the league but we're capable of taking anyone in a series. Our in-season additions have been great for us. If only Ben Simmons had a jump shot and could make FT's. Playoffs are going to be a battle. The Bucks are going to be really tough. |

Whether or not this ages well IDK. It just so reminded me when I was sitting there last year watching the game again. So when does UVA start to get nervous and start thinking about last year? I got to watch that game last year in person and am not sure what the vibe is in the arena but dang if they don't seem to be making the same mistakes. 8-6 Gardner Webb with 13:24 to go left in the first half. Could it be a Bulldog to replace a Retriever? And if it happens again does UVA never ever ever get a ! seed again?

Well guys, I graduated from Gardner Webb, so I'm ecstatic right now. #hoping The only problem I see is there are no Duke fans there to get behind them. Last year the place was packed with UNC fans rooting for UMBC. I think I said that in last year's thread you could feel the crowd starting to build behind them. I truly believe that is what drove it home. @josiadb. Can that town handle a win? I guess the go to spot would be Shelby? Edited: Yes it would bust my bracket and just like last year I will be happy again to have it busted. |
