I tried to force EPSG 2227 as I could not find any EPSG info in the metadata file, but it quite obviously did not work - couldn't see any sat image on the in-program pop-up to select the course area and create the mask; once generated, nothing from OSM showed up; basically as you've described in the header post on this subforum. No rush here, it's just another one that I'm testing out to get some experience. Appreciate whatever help can be provided.

 Magic number is EPSG 2274.  I made an advanced sticky for those who want to be able to find their own EPSG.
