Hi all, new release is available at the project homepage: chadrockey.github.io/TGC-Designer-Tools/Some notable changes: Now supports both MS paint red colors in case of misclick or bad eyes Lidar trees will respect the mask and not populate in red areas. This should go easier on the resource meter. I've stopped adding the low detail background automatically, I think for some users with very large courses, it causes issues. It's relatively easy to add with the terrain flatten tool. Fix a few small issues and code crashes, especially related around first import after the tree update or trying to make a flat OSM course And improving the speed of the OSM import stage since we're doing a lot more with it now. ------------------------- Feel free to leave issues for this release in this thread and I'll take a look

I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I can't get the program to run.
I don't have The Golf Club 2019 installed but I do have a blank course file that someone sent me. I wanted to experiment with my Australian LIDAR files and the OSM for my course to see if it works ok. Does the TGC Designer Tools only work if you have TGC2019 installed?
Is there an installer for the tools of some kind that I'm missing?
I have downloaded the tgc_gui application file; the TGC-Designer-Tools-0.1.2.tar.gz file; and the TGC-Designer-Tools-0.1.2 zip folder. I have all three of these in the same folder. What else do I need to do?
When I run the tgc_gui application I get a Windows 10 warning that I've got past but then I get a screen similar to a Command Prompt window and nothing else happens.

That black window (looks like command prompt)is normal it always pops up first
It takes a few minutes sometimes after that window appears Before the other window pops up where you can use the tools
You don’t have to have the jar or other zip files unless you want to poke around in python and check out Chad’s coding and such
You don’t have to have Tgc installed as I’ve created a file Or two at work (of course during lunch) ha ha ...
Hope this helps

I don’t have a PC to do it myself.
