Strathmiglo Golf Club is situated in the north east of Scotland. Occupying the glen with the River running through it has hills on both sides that the holes ascend in descend as well as running alongside the river. Expect both a stern physical and golfing test especially on the front 9 that ascends the higher of the 2 hills with the back 9 occupying the floor of the glen with the river often coming into play.
This is a course I think will be very interesting with extreme elevation changes on the front 9. There are a number of courses that I have taken inspiration from but the ain ones for the idea for this course are: Ballater (Back 9 more), Braemar, Dalmunzie, Deer Park's Back , Pitlochry, Dunoon and Saline (especially the front 9).
