Not this year... Maybe in a few years if this becomes an annual deal, which I hope it will. I'd love to escape Minnesota about that time of year, but my general lack of money at the current time is hindering me. As an aside, while we speak about Pinehurst, what are your favorite courses in the Pinehurst and/or Raleigh areas? I'm going to have time to play three or four rounds there in about a month and haven't been there before. Probably going to skip the Pinehurst Resort for now. My shortlist is Dormie Club, Tobacco Road, Tot Hill Farm, Duke U, and Mid Pines as of right now. Any thoughts about those or other suggestions? As always thanks for the help, guys! |

How far from NY to Myrtle Beach? (its a 6 hour flight from Norway to NY), so it would be some trip to play golf, but it would be fun!  This : "I could keep cost of the golf and lodging to probably somewhere in the $200 - $250 range.", What do you mean? Pr day, pr round? Or total for 3 rounds and golf?? Because that would be cheap. |

UPDATE: It's likely going to be the weekend of Oct. 23/24/25 2015 Well...that takes me out. My daughter's wedding is on the 23rd. At this point, I think I'm still invited. |

I would slow everyone down, I'm horrible at golf. No one needs me to shoot a 120. Though I might just come for S & G. And if poker is involved I'd be there. Assuming I can afford a plane trip. I could also be course marshall, making sure no one chips on the green.

i propose we have a round somewhere in there where we only play with a putter + 1 club of choice.
also, who is bringing the pc(s)? i really dont want to bring mine, its kinda fragile and very heavy, and too expensive to replace lol.

The earlier I know if we have enough guys, the better...can use my air miles for a round trip to Atlanta to get the cost down, but need to book early.
Is it better to fly or drive from Atlanta? What airlines fly to Myrtle Beach?
