The Great Northern Links, isn't a links course in the traditional sense of the word. Instead, a unique variation on links golf. The course's yardage is fairly long, but with forgiving fairways and large undulating greens there is always the opportunity to hit the ball close with a well executed shot. With plenty of mounding, tall grasses and shrubs the course has a unique look and layout that is challenging but fair. Enjoy. I completed this course a while back but never got around to submitting it until recently. I either lack the ability or the motivation to re-learn how to post pictures on here, but here's the link to courses page with a couple pics. tgctours.com/Course/Details/21034
Feel free to give it a play and feedback is always encouraged. Cheers.

Hey Chris hershalcrustofsk haven't seen you around here for a while. Will definitely give this a play or two. I checked the DB for more of your courses and it seems like you've only ported one of your previous courses. You had some great courses in TGC1 and 2. Any chance you'll bring more over into TGC2019?

karma4u thanks a bunch for the pics, been a while but still greatly appreciated bogeyman not sure on the ports, I’ve been working at a new design recently, stay tuned for that one, should be out within the next 10 days or so. I may look at porting a few of my favorites, if you had any requests I’d definitely do it. Not sure if I can but would love to port Andilly Hills from tgc1. I tried to port one and it won’t let me publish it until I delete a bunch of objects. It’s good to see you and many others from the early days are still around, also good to see how big the tours have gotten with lots of new faces. @terry Grayson great to see you’re still at it. I just needed a break, unfortunately it turned into over a year. Just felt like I was out of fresh ideas, but they’re flowing again and I’m excited to get back into everything TGCT. Looking forward to checking out a lot of other courses once I’m finished my latest. I’m sure you’ve got a couple gems for me.

You created so many good ones but my favourite of all time has to be The Mighty Aegean. I would love to see this one ported over and I could guarantee a scheduled spot in a society I'm involved in.

I’ll fire up tgc1 and pick a few and make sure the Aegean gets in. There’s a couple id like to tune up and more than a few I’d like to forget about.
