I've just got a PS Pro and I have passed on on my standard PS4 to my son. He's 8.
We have been playing Fortnight on-line together and it's been fun. What other games do people recommend? I will be playing them with him and he can use my wife's ID. Obviously I'll not play any games which are not suitable for a 8 year old!!

Yeah, we've been playign hem off-line so although Minecraft will be better on two devices we wo't be getting much more out of it. Lego games work well on 1 device and we've enjoyed a fair few.

Google has a bunch of games for kids and PS4s. I know you want first hand accounts but I would imagine there are more games than TGCers playing them...

Dang, i didn't allow my kids to play/interact online with anyone until they were 13 years old. Of course, no one else their age were online either so they didn't miss a thing.

I was just thinking of games I've personally played, that would be kid friendly-
No idea if they are available on the PS network,
Planet Coaster is great. It is building amusement parks. I don't know if you can play it together, but once you build a park, you can visit each others'.
Also, how about Golf with your Friends? Its basic mini golf, but they have several neat courses. If you put ball collision on, it is hilariously fun!

To be 100% honest, no game is truly completely safe, as there are always a few creepy old guys. But for the most part, on PS4, Little Big Planet 3 and Minecraft are your best bets. Heck, if he’s into golf, Everybody’s Golf is fun, or even better, TGC!

You might try Roblox. My 5 year old son loves it.
My 10 year old gets to play games he probably shouldn't ( don't tell Mom) but he really is a good kid and probably has the soul of a 16 year old. He also has about 10 friends he plays with that all seem to be good kids. Plus he only plays downstairs so we can keep a eye on him. Not worried about him. The younger one well....
I did get my older one the switch and they both like playing in that. Can never go wrong with Nintendo for kids.

Thanks everyone. He only ever plays on-line with his cousin or me. The TV is also in the living room so I know what he's doing. Most of the game smentioned already work on one console and we've played most of them so there's a couple more to try. He plays Roblox on his tablet and loves it!
