NOTE: Please do not post on rounds that have not been revealed on the leaderboard. Moderating is in effect and they will be removed. Please use the Locker Room threads to discuss rounds not revealed. Thanks! The Press Tent will be a feature on TGC Tours where you can come in after a round or tournament and answer some questions from the press. You can let off some steam or tell about some great (or not so great) shots. Some of your answers will be used in Tournament recaps. Have fun, keep it clean! Reminder: Please include your leaderboard name in your post or in the Tour Name portion of your forum profile so that our reporters can make the connection between your Press Tent posts and your leaderboard names. Thx! Questions (answer as many or as few as you like) - What was the highlight of your round/tournament?
- What was the low-light of your round/tournament?
- What did you think of the course?
- How did you fare on the leaderboard? Who were you trying to beat?
- Ask your own question and answer it!

Jeremy BlaylockRound One: 55 (-17)reporter Bob pulls Mr. Blaylock off to the side after he walks off the 18th green.- What was the highlight of your round/tournament?
It was definitely the 17 birdies Bob, or was it my 10 strait birdies to finish off the round?
- What was the low-light of your round/tournament?
Most definitely the only par I had all round, came on hole 8, I believed I shanked the ball over into the bushes off the drive, well below the fairway with a nasty 45 degree angle sidehill ball lie to play through on my approach shot from the heavy rough through bushes.
- What did you think of the course?
Not really my cup of tea TBH Bob, in my practice rounds, I could not really get anything going and came into the tourney without much hope, maybe its because this course is on the links theme, and I usually struggle hitting the ball there.
- How did you fare on the leaderboard? Who were you trying to beat?
What a silly question Bob, let me ask you this, how do you keep your job as a reporter Bob? I mean, seriously,..you ask some very silly questions sometimes.
- Are you looking forward to round 2?
Only if I can shoot like I did in round 1 Bob.
Mr. Blaylock walks off and meets up with Bob Barkers Ghost, they both ride off into the sunset on unicorns.

Job Fickett walks into the press tent after a second round 65 to post a meager -11.
Long day out there, huh? You bet. Winds were low, but the greens are tricky and the rough is thick. Really have to be below the hole out there, and its pretty unforgiving if you aren't.
Granted, you had a couple eagles drop, but really no margin for error out there, and the 4 bogies in the two rounds killed you. For sure. Not much chance of making a cut out here with bogies. Pars are bad enough. And three putts are even worse, because you know a par might at least keep you in it.
What's got to change out there? I need an overhaul, but to be honest it's probably not that far off. Its just inconsistency from round to round...putting good but driving bad. Short game bad, but hitting every fairway. Just can't seem to put it all together.
I see you've already got your passport in one hand... Yep, and a flask in the other. Going to India next week, and then South Africa for a week... or three...after that. I've had more success overseas this year, and maybe some world travel will help me get that good juju back. Plus, if I cant reel in a top 25 on a course I designed, maybe I should hang up the cleats and just spend my days in the design studio.
Thanks for your time, Job. You got it, bud. Cheers. See you in March.

Fred Parrow Rnd 1: 62 Rnd 2: 62 We pull aside Fred Parrow after a solid 20 under to take into the weekend...Why are you always picking on me? Can't you get some more interviews from the other 100+ players? Err, ummm, well we would like to but it seems quite a few are paparrazi shy or just too busy. You should try harder. People love to hear about how others got around the course. Ok, yeah we'll try! So how was it out there for you?Nothing special other than staying bogey-free. Missed an ace by inches and also missed too many fairways and sliding putts...I think I could go sub-60 this weekend if I can hold it together. Thoughts on Yeti National? This could be may favorite course on the tour thus far. My hats off to the designer as everthing about it screams someone who understands great course design. I'd love to see how those IRL pros would score on it! IRL pros??? Who...what? Nevermind. What are your goals to finish out here?Well consistency has been an issue with me, so I would like to get to -40 by the end of 72 holes. That should be enough to keep my WGR stable around #37 which is plenty pleasing for me. Good luck...now let's see if we can corral another player...

What was the highlight of your rounds so far? Well, that would exclude talking about round 1 so let's just get to the good stuff. Things started to turn around on the 14th hole of round 2. After missing my approach shot and watching the ball roll away from the pin, I managed to hit the hole on a long uphill putt that kickstarted the rest of the tournament. Was playing catch-up from there on out but managed to make up shots on most of the field. Round 3 started off with a great approach shot on 1 that I still can't believe didn't go in. The ball had enough backspin to hover over the hole without falling! Move on to the 9th hole and my 2nd shot on the par five managed to hit the pin and leave me with an easy tap in. Had both those shots dropped I would have made the turn at 11-under.
What was the low-light of your round/tournament? Couldn't get much going in the first round - missed putts and approach shots not being accurate enough. Nothing too major as I managed to stay out of trouble on the only shot that had a chance of hitting water.
What did you think of the course? Definitely tougher than some of the scores are suggesting. You have to put your ball on the right side of the hole and get it close. The greens are unforgiving!
How did you fare on the leaderboard? Who were you trying to beat? First two rounds had me down in a tie for 19th but I managed to make a big move in R3 to get back into the top-10. Not sure I can catch the leaders - some excellent golf being played by guys above me. I do have Blaylock, Gemmil and Chapman in my sights though!

Must say wow u guys are good! My practice rounds are competative but every week i seem to fall short with a few nerves about. Just cant put 4 solid rounds together. So hats off to you bandits see you in 2 weeks at the cadillac!!
