One thing not discussed here that is very easy and remarkably consistent is the use of "Very Slow" swings on chips and flops. They are easy to accomplish by holding at the top of the backswing for one or two seconds, and the shots go pretty much 50% of the carry distance of a normal swing. It is especially useful to me on chips of 4 to 6 yards, and of sand shot flops of less than 20 yards.
