It was an accident! Perhaps ... or perhaps Pithbitwood knew too much about that fateful night the tavern burned. Something to do with Cheeto dust, rotgut whiskey and flatulence all perilously close to an open flame. Isn't that right, Terry Grayson?  |

Forgive me if you have already mentioned this Dario but how do you pronounce Sasquehannock? csugolfer60 Truth be told, I don’t even know exactly myself. The name comes from the Susquehannock ( susquehanna ) Native American tribe that occupied a lot of eastern Pennsylvania . I think mayday’s pronunciation is just about right above, except the first syllable is more of a SUSS instead of a SASS. I also pronounce the QUE as ”kuh” instead of “kwuh” but that’s probably all of my time I spent up in Quebec talking. |

Sounds like a portmanteau of Susquehanna and Rapahannock (the town I grew up in is right on the Susquehanna and I've always said suss-kwuh-hann-uh, but potato, potahto).
