Stoneysooner dropped out. I’ll be updating the OP & field when I get home and can access the forum from something other than my phone.

The final par 5, The Animal, is the double dogleg par 5 from your nightmares. Nestling the ball up as far down the fairway and as close to the bunkers as possible will be necessary to get home in 2.

Sprinklers turned on last week and landscaping crew brought in. Grass is getting greener and the final look is coming to fruition

I'll give you a hundred dollars if you can hit it. I'll send the landscapers back out, maybe it's not too heavy for them to move

With the rock removed at Matt's advice, I am now working on the final, final touches. After this I will go back through and touch up the touch ups. I'm not sure what else I'll find if I'm already spending time on this nonsense

So can we stop and talk about the US Open being held at a course in a Sri Lankan UNESCO World Heritage site for a second?

So can we stop and talk about the US Open being held at a course in a Sri Lankan UNESCO World Heritage site for a second? Just because the name is derived from such a source doesn't mean the course is actually located there, although I see how you could arrive at that conclusion. The name merely serves a link to the course's inspiration, although I admittedly got off track with even that. So this course is located in Hawaii or Florida (take your pick) I don't really care which

Lol, I was just giving you a hard time. You're probably right though. Maybe I need to find a nice tropical mudflat on this side of the world and draw the name from it God forbid it gets judged by something that's not really even a part of it, as if I had any real chance in the first place

To be fair, at the rate we're going, I could totally see us outsourcing the US Open to Asia in the near future.
