Gimmick tour / one off tours

I am interested in playing more than the one tour a week and think it would be great to have some kind of tour that has gimmick courses or special rule tours.

This could be anything from:
- Ace tour

Playing a tour of a only par 3's and the winner is the one with an Ace from the furthest distance and of course with no one making that the longest chip in than putt would follow. This would allow all club skills to be in a single tour and hopefully generate a bunch of Ace footage.

With this there would have to be some par 3 courses only. Might attract some Interesting design challanges also.

- Single club tour

A tour where the rules state you can only use a single club and a putter. Again this would need some testing and some courses just made for this.

- Course Gimmick

Playing a normal tour but with a course that has a certain gimmick like:
- all par 3s
- every hole needs a fade or draw shot
- too much water. Every shot needs to be perfect otherwise it a water shot.
- tiny greens course

Again these are just a few ideas. If anyone already know of some cources like this or a tour that already does this let me know.

Nothing to stop you starting a Community Event with something like the above? There already are plenty to choose from but must admit I've toyed with the idea of an 'out there' competition, something a bit different from the well run but basically standard tournaments already being run.  There are some really well done 'whacky' courses out there....

From back in my TW04 days we would play this game call Punch Putt. Could use any club in the bag, but you could only Use swings of Punch or Putt. Best done live with a twosome or group and discord, what a hoot that was!
