Left stick, right handed. Though I have used the right stick at times, I tend to switch back and forth. For example, when I notice my thumb is sliding a bit I will switch to the other..

Right handed and use the right thumbstick. Can't seem to get the one thumb swing down at all, so I use both thumbs to swing. Same here When you say both thumbs do you guys actually mean both thumbs or thumb and index finger?

For me its both thumbs. It varies between 5 and 7 and 10 and 2 o'clock. I use both thumb placements and switch off depending on which is giving me straighter shots that day. Weird I know. Experimenting with the thumb and index finger and struggling. Can't seem to get 100% power with a smooth swing, or straight for that matter.

Yep, both thumbs. I've generally hold the stick at 4 and 8 o clock with a gentle pressure. I must try foreplay's 10 and 2 placement to see what that works like. One thumb never worked for me - I always ended up slicing big time.

Another tip that helped me was mentioned by Doyley. He suggested "tilting" or "rotating" the controller itself at a slight angle. Around 10 and 4 o'clock helped a lot with the slice. For some reason it also made me pull putts, so I put with it straight. I'm weird....did I mention that?

Right stick, right handed.
Before TGC I've always used the left stick, but I'm happy we can play the right one now.
